Die den Gegenstand der Erfindung bildende Schraubenschlitzklemme mit quer geteiltem Isoliermantel kennzeichnet sich dadurch, daß der das Schraubengewinde enthaltende und im unteren Mantelteil festsitzende Klemmenteil mit seinem oberen Ende über den unteren Mantelteil hervorsteht. Fügt man dann den mit einem Spannring ausgestatteten Oberteil des Isoliermantels auf und zieht die Klemmschraube an, so klemmt diese nicht nur die Leitungen fest, sondern es werden auch 'die vorstehenden Schenkel des im unteren Mantelteil festsitzenden Klemmteiles dabei etwas auseinandergedrückt und gegen den im oberen Mantelteil sitzenden Spannring gepreßt.
