Electrical contact device for current failures. Clockworks with
two contacts switched on one after the other in the alarm clock circuit on different
fast rotating waves. The invention relates to contact devices,
which, under the control of clockworks, issue wake-up calls at predetermined times.
The essential thing is the design of such contacts in such a way that
that short, sharply delimited calls, for example by using tear-off springs
in the manner of snap switches, are made possible by connecting them in series
this contact with a plug contact on waves running at different speeds
Jes Uhrwerkes the delivery of such particularly short-er contacts to any
time to be determined in advance is made possible. Also in the training of the contact brushes
this purpose is particularly favorably taken into account. by pulling the pen on the swiftly
Continuous contact by covering with insulating material leads to particularly short contact
enabled, and by the other hand, the slow-moving contact arm a coil spring
which, due to its flexibility, enables a longer-lasting power supply,
meanwhile the fast-running koi beats several calls one after the other
can deliver.

8 eingesteckten Stöpsel io beim Ankommen an. diesem Stöpsel Kontakt geben
The case i.- contains a dial which is covered by a glass cover case, and around which a contact ring 8 provided with plug holes is placed on the outside. The glazing provides dust protection for the pointer; and the protection against B (stir when plugging or other manipulations. Between the Zal len of the dial and the holes df contact ring 8 is provided by metal bosses 2 or similar visible parts, such as, for example, frames of the relevant ends Contact holes, the necessary connection established. An electric battery 14 and a chime 15 are now used by the clockwork 22 for signaling in the following way: On the hour hand of the clockwork is a contact brush: 23 by means of a resilient spiral24 by means of a star-shaped sheet metal part 25 , which has load weights 26 at its tips for exact compensation of the brush weight; As the contact ring 8 is connected to one pole of the battery r4 via the bell, the brush 23 would be opposite when the other pole is connected to the clockwork 22 each plug inserted in the contact rings 8 io when arriving en on. Make contact with this plug and thereby make the bell 15 ring. However, as this contact would take too long and would be interrupted too slowly due to the slow movement of the pointer, which has a disruptive effect and leads to burning of the contacts due to arcing, a second, faster working contact is inserted into the connection between the battery and the clockwork.
This second contact is initially in a contact plate 27 which is fixed on the Minutenzeigenvelle, of the movement and four groups of j e f ive tine 28 has, for example, are caused by always allowed to stand from a sechzigzähnigen Zaihnrade ab alternately five teeth and ten Teeth are cut away. A spring carrier gl is fastened in a 29 isolated from the clockwork 22. and this supports a slotted arch 30, which can be clamped at various points by means of a clamping screw 31 , a contact spring 32 which is covered at the tip with insulating plates 33 on both sides. This contact spring - is gradually pushed aside by the passing prongs 28 without contact, then makes contact with the tip of the prong, but with the end face of its metal part, and after a few seconds slides off the prong so that it moves to # _- # xt , a snap switch the spark abreitS: t and 'gnal dismisses the S sharp and short. The - '#, slitl) o, -en 30, which runs concentrically to the tip part 33 of the spring 32 , enables a radial or somewhat tangential adjustment of the spring with respect to the contact disk z': 97, as shown; This allows # (lie contact -Icbungszeit in substantial 'dimensions of a few seconds to about a Vierteltninute be adjusted. The Federträger29 is ally with the second Datteriepol, so that therefore the power from the battery 14 of both contacts 10, 23 and 27 , 32 in series connection to the chime 1 5 and again by back-flows to the battery 14th of the contact 10, 23 for a longer time maintaining the touch, the break spark always arises, so that it dominates the Signalgehung only at the second contact 27, 32 and accordingly five signals of a few seconds each , duration in minute peric, that come about; signals of this kind have such a characteristic effect that they cannot be overheard or, if they are formed as light signals, can be overlooked - and the power consumption is extremely low.
