Riffelwalzenstuhl zur Herstellung von Schrot aus Körnern aller Art,Corrugated roller mill for the production of shot from all types of grain,
Patentiert im Deutschen Reiche vom 8. Mai 1919 ab.Patented in the German Empire on May 8, 1919.
The invention relates to an apparatus for producing shot of all types, in particular of coarse meal, on two or more roller mills with corrugated rollers and intended for the. crushing occurring with smooth rollers to avoid the grains and the undesirable flour formation caused by them.
Bei diesem Verfahren ist aber die Mehlbildung immer noch zu groß, undCorrugated rollers have already been used that meanwhile the husks of the grain shattered too much, so that further processing was hindered in its smooth course. To some extent to this shattering avoid, the grain has been fed to the rollers by special methods in such a way that its longitudinal axis is parallel to the roller axis lies. With this method, however, the flour formation is still too large, and
wird.the husks are not as bulky as would be desirable, since between the corrugations there is still a crushing of the grain, which increases both.
The invention now wants to eliminate these two inconveniences and therefore uses corrugated rollers in which a trough of a certain size running in front of the corrugated edge is arranged for receiving the grain, so that any crushing of the grain is avoided.
Such hollows and depressions have already been arranged, but they did not have any certain shape and were only used to tear or press the grains with more or less flour formation, which avoided shall be.
In the drawing, Fig. 1 is a representation " of how the grain is broken between the edges of the reef. Fig. 2 and 3 show crushing between smooth rollers. Fig. 4 shows the breaking of a grain with Corrugating rollers of the new shape. Fig. 5 and 6 show the new shape of the corrugated roller. The corrugated rollers 1 and 2 are designed so that in front of the edges 3 and 4 free, trough-shaped spaces 5 are arranged in which a grain half 6 has enough space to be broken open and without pressure from the roller to be carried away with her.
When using these corrugated rollers for the production of coarse meal, the grain is in as is known, inserted into the trough passage so that it lies between two corrugations, with its longitudinal axis parallel to the corrugated edges. When moving the The grain is rolled (as in Fig. 4) in a line parallel to the longitudinal axis; broken instead of (as in Fig. 2 and 3) by 'crushing in its entire circumference to suffer a complete change in shape. This ensures that each half of the grain has an almost completely preserved husk. In Fig. 2 and 3, the entire grain content is exposed to roller pressure, the grain becomes flatter, the contents between the husks lower, and these are forcibly blown open with extensive flour formation. When using the new roller shape according to Fig. 4, the grain is broken into two Parts divided, with the husks bursting open at the pressure points of the corrugated edges, while i • the rest of the grain content is only exposed without being crushed. j A second advantage of the troughs 5 is | in that the in a known way with the Longitudinal axis parallel to the corrugated edge 4:
The depression achieved by separating the corrugations 3 and 4 continues to have in addition to securing the grain layer, the purpose is to provide sufficient space for the to form fractions of the grain generated by the break-up, whereby a too extensive Comminution, as it occurred with normal corrugations that were customary up to now, and how it is necessary for the reduction of flour formation, is avoided.
The bottom surface of the trough can be designed as desired, the roller diameter accordingly adapted approximately cylindrically, flat as in Fig. 6. Due to the forced position of the Grain in its longitudinal axis parallel to the corrugated edges and through the arrangement of the trough-shaped space, the previous shattering · of the husks, which Flour formation reduced and semolina production increased. To get a good scrap It is enough if only one of the pre-breaking rollers is provided with the new corrugation, while the second is the previous one Shape can be maintained.
The method can be used with advantage on all types of grain which are in Husks, semolina and flour are broken down, and when they are distributed or where it is at the In individual grist passages, it is important to protect the husks and to favor the flour content 'to diminish the semolina.
