Abstract

In previously known methods, the measuring was carried out by optical measurement with a raster wall as reference plate, the measuring having been carried out with a line grating projected from a certain angle. However, such a known method has the disadvantage that the recording of photos produced by double exposure is cumbersome and time-consuming and that no automation is possible. The invention is based on the object of creating an improved method for body measuring, by means of which the disadvantages of previously known methods can be avoided. The object is achieved by a method which is characterised by combining the method steps of projecting lines on a body by means of a projector and the method step of recording the body with the lines by means of a video camera which inputs the image for automatic analysis into a computer in which a reference raster already exists as program component.

Description

The invention relates to a method for computing supported three-dimensional video body measurement.

In previously known methods for three-dimensional Measuring plastic bodies, especially humans body measurements, the measurement was made by an optical Body measurement with a grid wall as a reference plate and a line projected from a known angle grid made. This was done by double exposure created photos, which are then made by hand had to be evaluated.

Such a known method for three-dimensional However, body measurement has the disadvantage that the Take photos from double exposure is cumbersome and time consuming and that an automati Sation of the process is not possible.

There is already a procedure for three in England dimensional body measurement has been developed at wel chem the three-dimensional measurement by a light beam is made possible from a known angle the body is projected, and this over the surface of the body is moved from another person spective is recorded by a video camera. The out evaluation is carried out by a programmed calculation ner (Isis).

This known method also has the disadvantage that that the production of double exposures is cumbersome and is time consuming and a runtime for the projected Beam is accepted and not automation is aimable.

The invention is based, one of the task like improved process for three-dimensional To create body measurement, with which the disadvantages of the previously known methods can be avoided and to make it possible, if avoidance of double exposures and the resulting time the process was straightforward and simple perform and automate the Ver to enable driving process.

The task is characterized by the characteristics of resolved part of the patent request.

The new process for computer-based three-dimen sional video body measurement combines the ver feature of the line projection and the procedure feature of video recording. The reference grid is completely created by a computer. Invention Ge moderately there is the advantage that no double exposure device and no runtime for the projected beam (see Isis) has to be accepted and that an auto matical evaluation of body surfaces by the programmed computer unit used can be achieved.

Es zeigtIn the drawing, an embodiment of the the device carrying out the method is shown. It shows

A line screen 5 projected from a known angle by a line projector 1 onto the surface of the body 4 to be measured is recorded by a video camera 2 , the information going to a computer unit 3 . The chiaroscuro information is set in relation to a reference grid located in the computer unit 3 and evaluated automatically.

Anybody can measure the body Be body.

The human body can also be used for ver measurement and diagnosis of spine related ver be changes.
