Abstract

Das Gerät besteht aus dem halbzylindrischen oder ähn­ lichen Gehäuse 1, 2, das an der Ober- bzw. Vorderseite einen Deckel 12 hat, der an Scharnieren 13 befestigt und mittels einer Klemmfeder öffenbar und verschließbar ist. Am vorderen Ende des Gehäuses, sowie am hinteren Ende ist je ein dünner Filter 10 bzw. 11 angeordnet, die ein­ schiebbar sind. In gewissem Abstand von denselben sind drei, wenn nötig auch mehrere Filter 8 angebracht, die ebenfalls leicht in das Gehäuse einschiebbar sind und zwischen Ringen 5, 6, 7 ruhen. Die Filter sind treppen­ förmig übereinander oder hintereinander angeordnet und haben jeweils einen freien Durchgang 9, der jeweils um 180 Grad versetzt zum vorhergehenden Durchgang ist. Die Luft strömt durch den dünnen Filter 10 ein, prallt gegen die Fläche des ersten Filters 8 den sie teilweise durchdringt, während ein Teil, zur Verhütung der Stauung abgeleitet wird über den Durchgang 9 und dabei auf den zweiten Filter 8 aufprallt, wo sich dasselbe, wie auch beim folgenden dritten Filter 8 wiederholt. Zuletzt ge­ langt die Gesamtluft durch den dünnen Filter 11 in den Luftschacht des Autos. Zu diesem Zweck ist am Ge­ häuse 1, 2 ein Flansch 3 vorgesehen, der auch als Luft­ zuführer zum Luftschacht des Autos ausgebildet sein kann und zur Befestigung des Gehäuses am Auto dient. Gerät für den Frischluftschacht von Autos, zum Filtern der eintretenden Luft mittels Filter, dadurch gekenn­ zeichnet, daß es aus einem halbzylindrischen Gehäuse (1, 2) oder ähnlicher Form besteht, der an der Oberseite einen Deckel (12) zum Öffnen und Verschließen des Gehäu­ ses aufweist, und daß im Gehäuse drei oder mehr Filter (8) in gewissem Abstand voneinander, stufenweise über­ einander angeordnet sind, die Luftumleitungsöffnungen (9) freilassen, derart, daß die einströmende Luft die Filter passieren, und die übrigbleibende, die Filter nicht pas­ sierende Luft um die Filter herumgleiten kann, zum Ein­ tritt in den Luftschacht des Autos, nachdem sie zuvor, beim Anprall auf die Filter eine Reinigung erhalten hat.1.
