" Der Anwendung der Ent-It is already known that during the sterilization of milk and other liquids

Eliminate ventilation. The present invention seeks this degassing in such processes
for the sterilization of milk and other liquids, in which the liquid can be accommodated by rotating bodies
the influence of the centrifugal force is atomized in order to have a favorable sterilizing effect
while maintaining the biological or natural properties of milk or others
Achieve liquids .-- Here the degassing could be carried out particularly effectively
because not only the milk is finely distributed with the atomization
Air would come into contact, but because the milk or the like in connection with this would also come into contact

;gasitng with such procedures are available
Difficulties in the way because the atomization and subsequent heating in
thin layer on a trickle surface in closed apparatus. must go ahead,
to enable a suitable heat intervention. According to the present invention
these difficulties are thereby eliminated ^
that in the atomizing and heating chamber air is introduced and derived therefrom in such a way that it as a result
the movement of the rotating body by which the atomization of the liquid is effected,
flows through the atomization chamber and degassed the atomized liquid, the air
and the gases it entrains on a different basis than that intended for the sterilized milk
Paths to be derived. . One suitable for performing this procedure
Apparatus is in the drawing in one; vertical section illustrated. ;
z. B. Dampf, durch das Rohr C zugeführt, der ;
ist irgendein geeigneter drehbarer Zer- ! stäubungsapparat E angeordnet, welcher in ;
An geeigneter Stelle, z.
A is the heating and atomisation chamber which is delimited by a wetted surface L loading ■ ', which is externally surrounded by a heating jacket B. This is a heating means, for. B. Steam, supplied through pipe C, the ; flows out through the pipe coil D inside the heating jacket B. Within space A there is some suitable rotatable decomposition! arranged dusting apparatus E , which in; the embodiment the form of a ge | perforated drum, has the ■ on the vertical shaft F sits, which slice through the intermediary, a toothed gear train G from the belt \ H is set into rotation. \ The atomization and heating space is closed by a lid that contains a funnel / through which the milk flows in. From there it gets into the drum j melii, is atomized on the perforated wall of the drum E as a result of the centrifugal force caused by the rotation and is thrown onto the trickle surface L in a finely atomized state. Below the drum a plate E K can be arranged, which serves the abspritzenden wetted surface of the liquid particles to the L Rieselfiäche L back pass, so that they can not escape the effect of heat. At a suitable point, e.g. B. at the edge of a concentric to the flow surface L standing wall M 1 an opening N is provided through which air and the gases excreted from the milk can escape without these gases coming into further contact with the milk flowing off at O. Atmospheric air is sucked in from j the milk i flowing in through the funnel / and conveyed into the atomization chamber. If necessary, however, special air inlet openings can also be provided. Under the influence of the rotating body causing the atomization, this air is set in motion within the atomization and heating space, namely in such a way that it flows to the discharge point, that is to the opening N. E air first with the atomized, located ie in finely divided state milk into intimate contact and can take the eliminated due to heating gases here in the best way: in this movement comes d. According to the drawing, the air is forced to flow through the narrow space between the trickle surface L and the edge of the plate K , so that at this point the air is brought into contact with the liquid flowing down the trickle surface in the thinnest layer and becomes with it can mix the separated gases, whereupon the air with the absorbed gases leaves the apparatus at iV. The outlet opening can also be provided at another suitable location, but it is always essential that a different outlet location is provided for air and gases than for the sterilized milk.
The type of rotating body or the atomizing devices acting under the influence of the centrifugal force
is not essential to the present invention. All that matters is that under the influence of such
Rotary body the air is set in motion within the atomization space and can flow through this space. Included
it can also be expedient, either directly on the rotating bodies or separately
of them special air conveying devices, e.g. B. in the form of wings, to bring the desired application
Ensure movement of the air through the atomization chamber.
