Abstract

Die Fig. 1 zeigt nun ein erstes Ausführungsbeispiel für ein Fixierelement 1 zum Festlegen von Wickelbändern ge mäß der Erfindung. Dieses Fixierelement 1 besitzt die Grundform einer Gürtelschnalle mit zwei Außenstegen 2, die über zwei Querstege 7 mit einem zwischen ihnen lie genden Mittelsteg 3 verbunden sind. So ergeben sich zu nächst zwei Außenschlitze 5 wie bei einer normalen Gür telschnalle. Im Mittelsteg 3 sind nun weiterhin zwei eng nebeneinander liegende Mittelschlitze 4 eingebracht, die bei diesem Ausführungsbeispiel parallel und fluch tend zu den Außenschlitzen 5 angeordnet sind. Als Fixier element 1 für ein um einen beliebigen Gegenstand herum gewickeltes Wickelband verwendet, wird das Ende des Wickelbandes zunächst in die Mittelschlitze 4 nach Art eines Gürtels eingefädelt, so daß dieses Fixierelenent 1 auf dem Wickelband fixiert ist. Dabei ist lediglich zu beachten, daß das noch überstehende Ende des Wickel bandes für eine weitere Wicklung ausreicht; denn nun wird dieses Ende nach der letzten Wicklung in die bei den Außenschlitze 5 des Fixierelementes 1 in der glei chen Weise eingefädelt und festgezogen. Damit ist eine sichere Festlegung des Wickelbandes erreicht, wie es im allgemeinen für Wickelbänder ausreicht. Das Fixierele ment 1 kann aus den verschiedensten Materialien be stehen, doch besitzt ein spezielles Ausführungsbeispiel der Erfindung noch zusätzlich besondere Vorteile. Bei einem derartigen Fixierelement 1 verwendet man Kunst stoffmaterial, zum Beispiel Polyethylen, das vernetzt und verstreckt wird, wobei die Verstreckungsrichtung VR in Richtung des später einzuführenden Wickelbandes verläuft, das heißt die Verstreckungsrichtung bzw. Schrumpfrichtung verläuft senkrecht zu den Schlitzen 4 und 5, zumindest zu den Außenschlitzen 5. Auf die se Weise erhält man ein bei Wärmezufuhr schrumpfendes Formteil, wobei die Schrumpfrichtung der Verstreckungs richtung VR entgegengesetzt ist. Dies bedeutet, daß das verstreckte Fixierelement 1 zunächst für die Montage weite Schlitze aufweist, in welche das Wickelband in der beschriebenen Art leicht eingefädelt werden kann. Anschließend verengen sich bei Erwärmung die Schlitze, so daß hierdurch eine zusätzliche Fixierwirkung ein tritt. Diese Ausführungsform ist besonders dann von Vorteil, wenn schrumpfbare Wickelbänder verwendet wer den, da dann eine Erwärmung des aufgebrachten Wickels sowieso erforderlich ist. So wird durch die Verengung der Schlitze infolge der Schrumpfung die Hemmung des Wickelbandes verbessert. Zusätzlich ist von Vorteil, wenn das Fixierelement 1 mit einer Beschichtung aus einem Kleber, insbesondere einem bei Wärmezufuhr akti vierbaren Schmelzkleber der handelsüblichen Art, ver sehen wird, da dann das Fixierelement 1 selbst auf der aufgebrachten Wicklung fixiert wird. Besonders ein fach und vorteilhaft läßt sich das Fixierelement 1 dann herstellen, wenn es aus dem gleichen Material wie das Wickelband besteht oder noch besser, wenn es aus einem Stück des verwendeten Wickelbandes, zum Bei spiel an Ort und Stelle durch Ausschneiden der oben be schriebenen Schlitze 4 und 5 hergestellt wird. So ist für dieses Fixierelement 1 gemäß der Erfindung soviel wie kein zusätzlicher Aufwand gegeben. Eventuell muß das einzuführende Wickelband in seiner Breite auf die Längsausdehnung der Schlitze 4 und 5 reduziert werden, um es bequem in die Schlitze 4 und 5 einfädeln zu kön nen. Dies ist jedoch nur erforderlich, wenn die Ver streckungsrichtung bzw. die entgegengesetzte Schrumpf richtung des Wickelbandes auch für das Fixierelement 1 in der oben beschriebenen Weise ausgenützt werden soll. Doch ist diese Reduzierung der Breite des Wickelbandes an seinem Ende im allgemeinen nicht nötig, da meist sowieso ein größeres Sortiment von Wickelbändern mit verschiedensten Breiten zur Verfügung steht. Dadurch ist es also immer möglich, eine geeignete Kombination mit allen Vorteilen jedoch mit möglichst wenig Arbeits schritten und geringstem Aufwand zu finden. Über das Fixierelement 1 erfolgt auf diese Weise die Kupplung der beiden Wickelbänder und die aufzubringende Wicklung kann ohne weitere Maß nahmen auf dem Gegenstand G weitergeführt werden. Die weitere Behandlung erfolgt je nach der Art des verwen deten Wicklungsbandes in der bereits beschriebenen Wei se.
