Claims (2)

1. Verfahren zum Walzen von Warmband aus Brammen oder Vorma­ terial, bei denen das Querschnittprofil in fehlerhafter Weise unsymmetrisch zur Mittellinie liegt, und bei denen die Unsymmetrie mit an sich bekannten Meßverfahren und Vergleichern ermittelt wird und zur Korrektur des Fehlers eine ebenfalls bekannte Korrekturvorrichtung zum Verändern des Querschnittprofils des Walzspaltes eines Walzgerüstes benutzt wird, wobei zum Ermitteln der Unsymmetrie an einer der oberen oder unteren längsseitigen Begrenzungsflächen der Bramme oder des Vormaterials die in Längsrichtung oder Walzrichtung sich erstreckende Mittellinie ermittelt wird und auf einer Linie quer zu dieser Mittellinie in symme­ trisch zur Mittellinie liegenden Meßpunkten die Abstände zu der gegenüberliegenden Fläche gemessen werden und die Meßwerte der symmetrisch zur Mittellinie auf den beiden Hälften sich entsprechende Meßpunkte miteinander ver­ glichen werden und bei einer für die Weiterverarbeitung störenden Unsymmetrie des Querschnittprofils zur Mittel­ linie die Bramme oder das Vormaterial durch eine Walzein­ richtung geführt wird, die vor der Warmwalzstraße liegt, oder die erste Walzeinrichtung der Warmwalzstraße ist und die so eingestellt ist, daß symmetrisch zur Mittellinie liegende gleiche Abstände gewalzt werden, wobei mindestens 30% der gesamten Breite auf der einen Hälfte mit den kleineren Abstandswerten liegend nicht mitgewalzt werden und weitgehend die andere Hälfte ausgewalzt wird, die von den symmetrisch gegenüber der Mittellinie liegenden Punk­ ten die größeren Werte der Abstände enthält und die Ein­ stellung der Walzeinrichtung so gewählt wird, daß die weitgehend ausgewalzte Hälfte in den Abständen und somit im Querschnittprofil zur Mittellinie angenähert symme­ trisch zum Querschnittsprofil der anderen Hälfte ist und anschließend die Bramme oder das Vormaterial den weiteren Walzeinrichtungen der Warmbandstraße zugeführt wird nach Patentanmeldung P 34 44 931, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Breite der Bramme oder des Vormaterials weniger als das Zwanzigfache der Höhe beträgt.1.
