Description
The invention relates to a hearing aid amplifier according to the preamble of Claim 1.
Such a hearing aid amplifier is known (DE-OS 26 41 675), in which the frequency spectrum emitted by a hearing aid microphone after a pre amplification is divided into two channels, of which the first channel in essentially the higher frequencies and the second channel essentially the transmits lower frequencies. The higher frequency can then be used in the two channels quent useful signal voltage are subjected to a different influence than the lower-frequency useful signal voltage. It has been shown that the over predominant proportion of hearing aid users in the lower useful frequency feels particularly annoying because it makes the language understandable is restricted.
The invention is based, with a hearing aid amplifier ge according to the preamble of claim 1 with the smallest possible space and construction parts effort to lower the lower-frequency useful signal level automatically.
The task is in a hearing aid amplifier according to the preamble of the An claim 1 solved by the characterizing features of claims 1 or 2. The advantage achievable with the invention is in particular that realize a hearing aid amplifier with the smallest space and component expenditure leaves. This advantage is particularly useful when hearing is worn behind the ear advice, hearing glasses and hearing aids to be worn in the ear because one generally strives for these hearing aids, that for the hearing aids to keep the required volume as small as possible.
Advantageous further developments and improvements of the hearing aid amplifier specified in the main claim are possible through the measures listed in the subclaims. A hearing aid amplifier is particularly advantageous in which the output and input of the control amplifier belonging to the compression amplifier are connected via a capacitor. In this way, an additional low pass filter to the RC low pass of the transistor of the last preamplifier stage is formed by a simple capacitor.

Fig. 5 is a detailed circuit diagram according to the alternative according to Fig. 4.
A hearing aid amplifier comprises according to FIG. 1, a hearing instrument microphone 10, which is preferably an electret microphone, the first terminal 11 to the positive pole 12 of the operating voltage U B, whose second terminal 13 to the ground potential, and the third terminal 14 through a coupling capacitor 15 with a Input 16 of a, for example, two-stage preamplifier 17 is connected. The preamplifier comprises a first preamplifier stage 18 and a second preamplifier stage 19 with a transistor 20 . The emitter of transistor 20 is firstly connected via an RC circuit comprising an emitter resistor 21 with a capacitor 22 connected in parallel to ground and secondly via a compression amplifier 23 with a first input 24 of an addition circuit 25 . The collector of the transistor is firstly connected via a collector resistor 26 to the positive pole 12 of the operating voltage source and secondly directly to a second input 27 of the addition circuit 25 . A volume control 30 is connected to an output 29 of the addition circuit, to the wiper of which a power amplifier 31 connects, which is connected to a receiver 32 .
The mode of operation of the hearing aid amplifiers described above circuit is the following.
The output at the output 14 of the hearing aid microphone 10 useful signal voltage passes through the coupling capacitor 15 to the input 16 of the preamplifier 17 and is amplified in the first preamplifier stage 18 and the second preamplifier stage 19 , which also acts as a signal splitter. The RC circuit 21, 22 forms a low-pass filter, so that the signal voltage U 1 tapped at the emitter of the transistor 20 contains essentially only the lower frequencies of the entire useful frequency spectrum. The compression amplifier 23 is a regulated amplifier which subjects the useful signal to dynamic compression in a manner known to those skilled in the art. In a manner described in more detail below, the compression amplifier is provided with a low-pass characteristic, so that the useful signal voltage tapped between the emitter of the transistor 20 and ground passes through a total of two low-pass filters connected in series before it is supplied to the first input 24 of the addition circuit 25 . At the collector of the transistor 20 occurs due to the emitter-side RC low-pass 21, 22 automatically a high pass effect, so that device 25 at the second input 27 of the Additionsschal a useful signal voltage U 2 with essentially only the higher frequencies of the frequency spectrum.
By adding the two useful signal voltages U 1 , U 2 , an output signal voltage is obtained at the output 29 of the addition circuit 25 , in which the disturbing lower frequency components only occur in a strongly damped manner; see. Fig. 3, in which the output sound level P of the hearing device as a function of frequency f with different high input sound levels Le 1 = 90 dB, Le 2 = 80 dB, Le 3 = 70 dB, Le 4 = 60 dB, Le 5 = 50 dB is shown. From the output signal voltage at the output 29 of the addition circuit 25 , a selectable part can be forwarded to the power amplifier 31 by means of the volume control 30 , which performs a final amplification and feeds the receiver 32 .
In the more detailed circuit diagram according to FIG. 2, 40 denotes the pre-amplifier, 41 the compression amplifier and 42 the addition circuit. The compression amplifier 41 contains a control amplifier 43 designed as a monolithically integrated circuit, preferably of the LD 502 type (manufacturer: Linear-Technology, Inc., Canada). The control amplifier has connections 1 to 8 , which have the following meaning. 1 = LF input, 2 = output for the supply voltage of the preamplifier and the microphone, 3 = output, 5 = connection to influence the decay time, 6 = input for control voltage, 7 = operating voltage and 8 = ground.
A resistor 44 between the terminals 2 and 4 determines the gain of the control amplifier. The terminal 2 is also connected to a capacitor 45 which, together with a resistor contained in the control amplifier 43 , forms an RC sieve circuit and ensures that the preamplifier 40 and the microphone 55 receive a sieved supply voltage. An adjusting resistor 47 , which is connected in series with a capacitor 46 , determines the degree of regulation or compression. A capacitor 48 between the connections 1 and 3 of the control amplifier 43 brings about a low-pass characteristic of the compression amplifier. A capacitor 49 determines the decay time of the control amplifier 43 . The addition circuit 42 is preferably an RC circuit comprising a series connection comprising a capacitor 50 and a resistor 51, and a capacitor 54 connected to the collector of the transistor 52 of the preamplifier 40, connected to the connection 3 of the control amplifier 43 . The terminal of the resistor 51 facing away from the capacitor 50 and the terminal of the capacitor 54 facing away from the collector of the transistor 52 are connected to one another and form the output of the addition circuit.
In FIG. 4, an alternative embodiment to the block diagram in Fig. 1 is fragmentary shown. In this embodiment, an unbridged emitter resistor 21 is provided. The signal voltage tapped between the emitter and ground of the transistor 20 is fed to the control amplifier 23 , which has a low-pass characteristic and supplies a signal voltage U 1 which essentially only comprises the low frequencies of the frequency spectrum. A tapped from the collector of Tran sistor 20 signal voltage is fed through a high-pass filter 28 to the second input 27 of the addition circuit 25 .
In the more detailed circuit diagram according to FIG. 5, 18 and 19 denote the transistors of the preamplifier stages, 23 the control amplifier and 48 the capacitor which determines the low-pass behavior of the control amplifier. The addition circuit 25 ( FIG. 4) is formed by a capacitor 60 of the high pass 28 and a resistor 61 between the terminal 3 and the ground-facing terminal of a resistor 62 of the high pass.
