Bei der Benutzung von Tabakpfeifen wird vielfach der Übelstand empfunden, daß die Asche ein Ersticken der Pfeife veranlaßt und allmählich zu einem Ansatz an der Innenwandung des Pfeifenkopfes sich verdichtet, so daß die Pfeife innen verengt und das Reinigen erschwert wird·. Am oberen Rande des Pfeifenkopfes ist ein Ringt zweckmäßig drehbar befestigt, mit dem er zum Zwecke des Einfüllens des Tabaks an den am Pfeifenrohr sitzenden Haken k angehakt werden kann, während er in der Gebrauchslage nach erfolgtem Umlegen des Pfeifenkopfes aus der in Abb. 1 gezeigten in die in Abb. 2 gezeigte Stellung auf einen Haken m aufgestreift werden kann, der auf dem Aschsammelbehälter h oben befestigt ist.
