Description

KAISERLICHESIMPERIAL

PATENTAMTPATENT OFFICE

Through continued experiments with the methods described in Patent No. 29891 described and explained Preparations made of aluminum bronze, aluminum and solutions of fatty and resinous acids Alumina has been found to contain all metal oxides and artificial colors which are used for Decoration of metals, glass and pottery, natural and artificial stones as well as mica are produced and used, as well as the preparations made from gold, silver and platinum as a result, it is much more even, more durable and more beautiful on metals, glass and pottery of all kinds and so on and the mentioned materials can be melted if you use the same instead of as before with thick oil, turpentine and other essential oils or with water and rubs rubber solutions and the like, simply with the aluminum preparation or the essential ones Rubs solutions of resinous and fatty acid clay, then on the surface to be decorated applies and therefore over the Bunsen flame, the coal fire, in the muffle, in the Incandescent furnace or with a blower flame in the red embers. Let such colors melt on all metals, even on brass, if the same first with aluminum or alumina solutions have been melted over. If you add aluminum preparation to the colors, they appear after firing frosted; On the other hand, if you add alumina solutions to them, they appear shiny.

At the same time there is the advantage of adding both aluminum and clay Melt colors in a fire. By adding the aluminum preparation, you can at the same time (similar to other Colors are usually done with the addition of white) very different nuances in the enamel colors produce. Since the colors become extremely fluid through the addition of aluminum and alumina solutions, the colors are given Before mixing with aluminum or alumina solution, a little fluff in the ratio of 1: 3 or 1: 4 and so on, which must be determined through tests for each color. Here it should also be emphasized that all these objects burn open without any cracks in the glaze.

Claims (1)

.The application of enamel colors, metal oxides and rivers of all kinds in conjunction with aluminum preparations (mixtures of fatty and resinous alumina with essential Oils and aluminum respectively. Raw aluminum powder) or with solutions of fatty and resinous Alumina with or without the addition of tin preparations, which, instead of as in the main patents No. 29891 first with thick oil, turpentine or other essential oils, directly with the Aluminum preparation resp. with the solutions of fatty and resinous alumina with or be rubbed without the addition of tin preparations. .
