Description

Marie von Orth geb. Eulenstin in Berlin. W i s 1 i c e n ia s »Abhandlungen zur reinen uii"l angewandten Kollci(Iclieinie<" Dresden 1908, S. 11 und 13). A u s f ü li r u n g s b e i s p i e 1. Marie von Orth née Eulenstin in Berlin. Process for the production of fresh powder. For the treatment of skin inflammations and naflekzemas, powders are often used which contain a medicinal substance mixed with a finely divided substance that is indifferent to the healing process. The uptake of the medicinal substance in the finely divided inert substance results in a distribution and, to a certain extent, a dilution of the medicinal substance which is of importance for the intended effect. In order to drive the distribution of the low-drug substance particularly far in a comfortable manner, so-called fiber clay is used according to the present invention as the base substance for the powder, i.e. H. a clay that is characterized by its particularly high adsorptive capacity and can be obtained from aluminum amalgam, for example, by exposing it in small grains to the action of moist air. Fibrous outgrowths then form on the aluminum amalgan granules, which only need to be dehydrated by heating in order to maintain the fibrous shape of the clay and at the same time to drive off any traces of mercury still adhering to the fibers (v.-1. W is 1 icen ia s "Treatises on pure and applied Kollci (Iclieinie" Dresden 1908, pp. 11 and 13). The form of clay obtained in this way is distinguished from other types of clay by its particularly low specific weight, which is only 0.25 a specific gravity I of 3 to 4 in other forms of clay. The great adsorption capacity of the basic syllabus of the powder is particularly valuable when the powder is used for the treatment of tea eczema, because not only the wetness and eczema are eager is absorbed, but that the distribution of the substance low niedikamentösen influenced compound in the mass by Kapillarattraktion -., A vird us f u li run g s b ice p Ie 1.

Fasertonerde ...... 6,o Gewichtsteile, Zinkoxyd ......... 5,2 - '.\7atritimperborat ... o,8 - Magnesiausta ...... 32,0 - Talkum .......... 8,o - Anyltun .......... 24,0 - Menthol .......... 1,6 - Anästhesin ....... To produce a powder which contains anesthesia; ii and menthol as substances of low concentration, one can proceed according to the invention as follows: You give together. Fiber clay ...... 6, o parts by weight, Zinc oxide ......... 5.2 - '. \ 7atrite imperborate ... o, 8 - Magnesia ousta ...... 32.0 - Talc .......... 8, o - Anyltun .......... 24.0 - Menthol .......... 1.6 - Anesthetist ....... : 2.4 - Menthol and -Anästhesin Iverden dissolved in a binreichenden amount of alcohol and ether, to the solution with the mixture of F, eststoffen -latt stir. After the mass has been thoroughly stirred, the solvents are evaporated and the powder is sieved.
