KAISERLICHESIMPERIAL PATENTAMT.PATENT OFFICE. KLASSE 37: Hochbauwesen.CLASS 37: Building construction. H. SCHÄFER in CASSEL Neuerungen an Glasdächern. H. SCHÄFER in CASSEL Innovations on glass roofs. Fig. 4 zeigt den Querschnitt der Sprosse. The present invention aims to produce a permanent, tight glass roof in a simple way (without the use of putty). Allow shifts due to temperature differences without prejudice. This is achieved essentially by peculiarly shaped rungs, best made of rolled zinc or white sheet metal, which are all mounted in one plane (according to the roof slope, falling after the gutter). Fig. 4 shows the cross section of the rung. The Trä'gervroprünge respectively. The supports of the glass panels are at unequal heights; thereby obtain the discs' at the same time lateral slope, ie the roof is in the lateral direction as shown in FIG. ι shows staircase shape, and the rainwater is b initially the underlying support protrusion down to as a groove is formed, supplied, as are the condensation , since the latter tends to run along the lower surfaces of the panes and drip off at the edges \; it should be noted here that the edition at y is not. sleep tightly (the boards are only in a few places), and the necessary passage for the condensation is still available. The higher lying support projection a forms an inclined plane and takes an elastic strip a 1 (felt, cloth, rubber or the like) as a tight base for the panes. As can be seen from FIG. 2, the upper edges of the panes lying on the inclined plane are cut obliquely, ie not parallel to the lower edges, in such a way that the overlapping ends of the panes are always longer than those pushed underneath, namely at 1 at an angle of 45 ° between the inclined plane and the pane to reduce the thickness of the pane. This is of particular importance, and this is the only way to achieve a uniform, dense support on the inclined surface. The over the ends of the disc respectively. The protective hood h , which is covered over the actual rung, has the purpose of keeping rainwater away from the upper edge of the pane and the lower-lying edges respectively. to protect the gutter from coarse dirt. If, during a storm, a few drops of water should be whipped through (upwards) at χ , these will be picked up by the emergency channel c , provided they are not absorbed by the base. Glass roofs with double inclination of the cover panels, characterized in that the individual panels rest on rungs, the lateral projections of which are at unequal heights, the lower part b of the rung being designed as a channel, while the upper part forms an inclined plane with an elastic one Ceiling is provided as a support for the panels.
