Eine solche Formmasse kann darüber hinaus preiswert hergestellt werden und ermöglicht insbesondere das Angarnieren von Henkeln oder dgl. Aufgrund der Zugabe des Blähmittels ist der Scherben hochporös und kann ausreichend Wasser aufnehmen, so daß beim Kochen, Braten oder Backen ein Anbacken oder Anbrennen bei den auftretenden Temperaturen ausgeschlossen ist.
