Description

The invention relates to a process for the simultaneous washing of SO 2 and NO x containing flue gases from melting chamber boilers, the flue gas passing through two washing stages.

A method of the aforementioned type is known from the DE-OS 24 51 274, in particular example 6.

It is known that with simultaneous washing of SO 2 and NO x from flue gases, especially after power plants, a certain quantitative ratio between SO 2 and NO x (e.g. 2.0-2.4 g SO 2 : 1 g NO x per Nm 3 flue gas) must be available. In particular in the case of smelting chambers, the aforementioned ratio between the SO 2 and NO x pollution in the flue gas for carrying out the wet process is not available. In most cases, the SO 2 in the flue gas is sub-stoichiometric with respect to NO x , and the SO 2 deficiency can be replaced by adding liquid sulfur dioxide, sodium pyrosulfite or by a gypsum splitter. These SO 2 additions are comparatively expensive.

On the basis of this prior art, the invention is based on the object of adjusting the ratio of SO 2 to NO x required for simultaneous washing in a method of the type mentioned at the outset and of letting the method run with the saving of an oxidizer.

To solve this task, those in the characteristics of Main claim listed features proposed. The featured on the advantageous embodiment of the invention Proposed funds are the subject of dependent claim 2.

The invention is explained in more detail with reference to the drawing.

1 with the prewashers is referred to, which is operated acidic, preferably with a pH between 1-2, and is used for washing HCl and HF. In the simultaneous washer 2 , SO 2 and NO x are washed out. The simultaneous scrubber 2 is followed by the recycling 3 with a gypsum precipitation stage. The precipitated mixture, consisting of CaSO 3 , CaSO 4 and traces of pure CaO, is fed via line 4 to the prewash stage 1 .

As a result of the acidic pH value, the mixture of CaSO 4 and CaSO 3 is oxidized in the pre-scrubber 1 and in the bottom sump by the excess oxygen additionally contained in the flue gas to CaSO 4 × 2 H 2 O. In this way, an Oxi deur is saved.

May further include the lack of SO 2 amount, which is for the reac of SO 2 / NO x tion -Simultan wash erforderlilch, in the prescrubber 1 for HCl / HF by lowering the pH so far as acid-graded and the residence time of the mixture of CaSO 3 / CaSO 4 in the laundry sump is increased so that the decomposition of CaSO 3 releases enough SO 2 to allow the reaction in the simultaneous scrubber 2 to run safely.
