Die Verwendung von überhitztem Dampf unter druck sorgt in Rückführungsrohren für den Transport, die Vermischung und für die Bindung von Schadstoffen, die zur Nachverbrennung in die Heizflamme geführt werden. Die Anordnung der Rückführungsrohre mit trichterförmigen Öffnungen nahe der auslaufenden Brennerflamme sorgt für die Erfassung eines großen Teiles der schadstoffreichsten Flammenanteile. Die Rückführungsrohre sind derart geformt, daß sie in Flammen richtung im ersten Drittel der Brennerflamme münden.
