Kunststoffrohrmuffe zum VerbindenPlastic pipe socket for connecting
von zwei Kunststoffrohren#den#.of two plastic pipes # the #.
The invention relates to a plastic pipe socket for connecting through Welding two plastic pipe ends.
It is known, two plastic pipe ends made of polyethylene by means of a Plastic pipe socket corresponding material by welding the plastic pipe socket to connect at the two pipe ends. The weld section is either Thermal wires inserted in the plastic pipe socket or through a, on the outside of the External tool arranged in the sleeve is heated. In both cases there will be a simultaneous Heating the outside of the pipe and the inside of the pipe socket is achieved. These known methods of assembling plastic pipe ends require that very much tight tolerances on both the outside diameter of the pipe ends as even the inside diameter of the plastic pipe socket can be observed. Further the procedures are slow or costly because they involve multiple process steps or require complicated pipe connectors with inserted heat wires.
The invention is based on the object of a plastic pipe socket of the above kind to provide a simple and inexpensive connection of two plastic pipe ends made possible without taking into account diameter variations of both the plastic pipe ends as well as the plastic pipe socket.
The plastic pipe socket according to the invention is characterized in that they have a preferably radial shrinkable outer plastic tube with a so has a coherent inner coating made of a weldable plastic material, and that the outer plastic tube has a melting temperature which is higher than the melting temperature of the inner plastic coating. This creates a plastic pipe socket achieved that in a simple manner a connection of the plastic pipe ends despite relatively allows large differences in diameter between them. The one applied from the outside Heat that melts the inner coating as well as the adjacent sections the plastic pipe ends with it, and the temperatures with it at the same time leads that are higher than the shrinkage temperature of the outer plastic pipe caused a shrinking of the plastic pipe socket around the plastic pipe ends with a certain pressure. At the same time, the liquid interior plastic coating is combined with the Surfaces of the two plastic pipe ends welded together. A dense and strong one This makes it easy to connect the plastic pipe ends. A particularly simple embodiment of the plastic pipe socket is according to the invention achieved in that the inner coating is made of weldable plastic material at least within the ranges of the Outer plastic pipe arranged is that for overlapping connection with the plastic pipe ends to be connected are provided.
According to a particularly advantageous embodiment of the plastic pipe socket according to the invention the outer plastic pipe can be made of polyethylene, which can form internal cross-bonds (PEX), and the internal plastic coating can be made of polyethylene (PE).
In a method for producing a plastic pipe socket according to of the invention are a plastic pipe and one welded together with this Obtain an inner coating, the plastic pipe consisting of an inner cross-link forming plastic material is made, and the formation of these internal cross-links is then actuated, after which the provided plastic pipe with a larger inner diameter during simultaneous heating up to or above the crystallite melting temperature of the plastic pipe is provided. This is an extremely simple way Plastic pipe socket reached, which with a new heating up to the crystallite melting temperature of the plastic tube to a smaller diameter and thus the outer diameter adjusts the plastic pipe ends, and at the same time on the plastic pipe ends in question is welded. According to the invention, the plastic pipe socket can be passed through Co-extrude the plastic pipe and the inner plastic coating, rapid manufacture of the plastic pipe socket is achieved. According to the Invention, the plastic pipe socket is particularly advantageously produced by that the plastic pipe socket by injection molding of the plastic pipe and the inner plastic coating is produced in two stages. Finally, according to the invention, the plastic pipe socket are made by the plastic pipe and the inner plastic coating are rotationally molded together using a high quality plastic pipe socket is achieved.
The invention is explained in more detail below with reference to the drawing, which is an axial section through a preferred embodiment of the plastic pipe socket according to the invention for connecting two district heating pipes welded together shows.
The illustrated in Fig. 1 plastic pipe socket 1 according to the invention is with two plastic tube ends 4 made of polyethylene and in the form of the outer sheaths welded together by district heating pipes with insulation 5 made of polyurethane foam.
The insulation 5 encloses inner steel pipes welded together at 7 6. The plastic pipe socket 1 has a radial, shrinkable outer plastic pipe 2 made of a polyethylene material that can form cross bonds (PEX). The outer plastic pipe is welded together with an inner coating 3 made of polyethylene (PE).
The outer plastic pipe 2 has a melting temperature which is higher is the flow temperature of the inner coating 3. The manufacture of the plastic pipe socket 1 happens in that the plastic pipe 2 and the inner coating 3 coextruded and are brought to bear against each other while they are still at a temperature, which is higher than their flow temperature at which they are welded together. That Poly = ethylene material used for the plastic pipe 2 is a known material with silane and accelerator and is manufactured by Dow Corning. at known method, for example boiling in water for about 12 hours can be, the inner cross connections in the plastic pipe 2 are now created. Thereafter, the plastic pipe socket 1 is up to a temperature corresponding to the crystallite melting temperature heated for the plastic pipe 2, after which the plastic pipe socket 1 is expanded, for example via a mandrel, so that they are provided with a larger inner diameter Is. This is made possible by the fact that the inner coating 3 is made of polyethylene and at the same time up to a temperature which is above the flow temperature of this material has been heated. The plastic pipe socket 1 now points a suitable inner diameter so that it extends over one of the plastic pipe ends 4 can be moved before the steel pipes 6 are welded together at 7. If the Plastic pipe socket 1 overlaps both plastic pipe ends 4, it becomes and thus also the overlapping surfaces of the plastic pipe ends 4 by means of heat from one external tool, e.g. in the form of a tubular heating tape 8, see the drawing, or heated by means of a gas burner, not shown. The plastic pipe socket 1 is up to or above a temperature corresponding to the crystallite melting temperature of the plastic pipe 2 is heated, and thereby tries the plastic pipe 2 and thus the whole plastic pipe socket 1 is restored to its original size before expanding to contract. As a result, the now liquid inner coating 3 of the plastic pipe socket 1 deformed from the shrunk plastic tube 2 by means of a suitable pressure and, together with the partially liquid surface of the pipe ends 4, fills all hollow spaces from, due to the diameter variations between the two pipe ends 4 and the plastic pipe socket 1 have arisen. In this way there will be a tight connection the pipe ends 4 reached. Because the inner layer 3 is made of the same type of polyethylene is than the plastic pipe ends 4, there will be a strong welded connection between achieved this.
The invention is with reference to a preferred embodiment the plastic pipe socket for use in connection with district heating pipes with a Outer jacket made of polyethylene has been described. Many changes can be made perform without deviating from the idea of the invention. Other materials can be, for example, depending on the plastic pipe ends to be welded together use. The most important feature is that the outer plastic pipe is the plastic pipe socket is made of a material that is both shrinkable and welded together Can form connection with their inner coating.
