Diese drehbare Anordnung des Wi:derlagers.hat gegenüber den bekannten Büchsenöffnern mit gezahntem festen Widerlager wesentliche Vorteile hinsichtlich der Handhabung. Das auf dem Büchsenrand aufliegende Widerlager rollt sich nach jedem Schnitt auf dem Büchsenrand bis zum Beginn eines neuen Schnittes vorwärts, während die bekannten Büchsenöffner mit festem Widerlager nach jedem Schnitt angehoben und vor Beginn des neuen Schnittes wieder auf dem Büchsenrand aufgesetzt werden müssen.
