Pendellagerung für die Achsen von Eisenbahnfahrzeugen.Self-aligning bearings for the axles of railway vehicles.
Patentiert im Deutschen Reiche vom 22. November 1918 ab.Patented in the German Empire on November 22, 1918.
In motor vehicles, it is known that the wheels to rotate around a hub that is eccentric to its center on the vehicle axis is mounted in such a way that they aim the vehicle axis when starting against obstacles swing and thereby cause a lifting of the vehicle axle and the load resting on it, whereby the impact is consumed will. The invention aims to make this effect of the pendulum hub also for railway
If this requirement is to be met, the one mentioned can be added to Pendulum hub known to motor vehicles is not readily transferred to railway vehicles. The present invention solves the problem of using the pendulum effect ίο in railway vehicles while maintaining it the normal axis with firmly seated wheels in a simple manner in that the Bearing shell inserted between the axle and the axle socket, which is otherwise on the axle socket is attached, under the action of a shock around an eccentric to the axis center can rotate lying point.
Eine Ausführungsform der Erfindung ist auf der Zeichnung inAn embodiment of the invention is shown in the drawing in
Abb. ι in der normalen Stellung dargestellt, währendFig. Ι shown in the normal position while
Abb. 2 die Teile in der Stellung veranschaulicht, die sie 'bei dem größten möglichen Ausschlag der Lagerschale einnehmen. Auf dem Zapfen α der Fahrzeugachse, auf der in gewöhnlicher Weise die Räder fest aufgekeilt sind, ruht unter Zwischenschaltung der Lagerschale b die Achsbüchse c, die ebenfalls in der sonst üblichen Weise unter Einschaltung der Federn das Wagengestell trägt. | Der Unterschied der Anordnung gegenüber der gebräuchlichen besteht in der Hauptsache nur darin, daß die Lagerschale b, die sonst an der Achsbuchse c unbeweglich befestigt ist, nunmehr lose zwischen den Teilen α und c liegt, und daß ihr äußerer Umfang nicht aus der Mitte d der Achse, sondern aus einem tiefer j liegenden Krümmungsmittelpuinkt e gekrümmt : ist. Entsprechend gekrümmt ist natürlich j auch die anliegende Fläche der Achsbuchse c. Die Wirkungsweise der Anordnung ist folgende: ' ; Fig. 2 illustrates the parts in the position they will assume at the greatest possible deflection of the bearing shell. On the pin α of the vehicle axle, on which the wheels are wedged in the usual way, rests with the interposition of the bearing shell b, the axle sleeve c, which also carries the carriage frame in the usual way with the involvement of the springs. | The main difference between the arrangement and the usual one is that the bearing shell b, which is otherwise immovably attached to the axle bushing c , is now loosely between the parts α and c , and that its outer circumference does not come from the center d of the Axis, but from a lower j lying center point e curved : is. Accordingly curved j is of course also the engaging surface of the axle box c. The mode of operation of the arrangement is as follows: ';
If the axle encounters a bump or other obstacle in the roadway, e.g. B. on the rail joint, as a result of this, a joint is exerted on the axle in the direction of arrow f (Fig. 1). As a result, the axis α, and with it the bearing shell δ surrounding it, oscillate around the pivot point e of the latter, so that the bearing shell b more or less moves into the position shown in FIG. The center of the axis d would decrease itself with this oscillation around the eccentric point e . But since the radius of the wheels is unchangeable, point d must maintain its height above the road, and instead of lowering it, the described oscillation raises the eccentric center of rotation e by the maximum amount χ (Fig. 2). However, this also results in a lifting of said axle bushing c and the load of the carriage frame resting on it. So the shock is absorbed by the lifting work. After driving over the obstacle, the axle swings back to its normal position and the carriage frame lowers again.
As can be seen from the drawing, the bearing shell b can swing in both directions, so that the absorption of the shocks is ensured by the pendulum effect in both directions of travel. Stops g serve to limit the oscillating movement. The two bearing surfaces of the bearing shell b are 'lubricated by an oil groove h through which the oil is introduced into the screw-shaped lubricating grooves of the two bearing surfaces.
If there is a lubricating pad from below against the axis α , as is often the case, it must of course be resiliently mounted so that it can follow the oscillating movements of the axis α in both directions without losing contact with the axis.
The arrangement results for railway vehicles and also for the railway superstructure very significant advantages, since the ends of the rails are consumed by the joint as well as the rolling stock are greatly spared. The bumps also make themselves in the car less noticeable because the wheels move over the rail joints as a result of the pendulum effect roll away.
