Description
Bei den bekannten Kameras dieser Art ist der Spiegel aber derart angebracht, daß er in der für die Beobachtung günstigsten Lage oberhalb des LichtschachtesReflex cameras are known in which in a collapsible light protection shaft a mirror is arranged so that the ground glass image is observed not only from above but also from the side of the protective shaft can be. In the known cameras of this type, however, the mirror is like this appropriate that it is in the most favorable position for observation above the light shaft
To now at If the mirror is inclined by 45 °, attach it within the light protection cover and to be able to lock against disruptive light incidence on all sides without special means after! the invention of the observation mirror mounted so that it can be swiveled so that it can even open the light shaft for observation from the side closes against incidence of light from above.
An explanatory figure and two exemplary embodiments of the invention are shown in FIG Drawing shown schematically.
According to Fig. 1 is o by a hinge. Like. One of the four walls of the light shaft protection α with a cover plate connected to b, which is used for covering the light-shielding the interior of the shaft and which is collapsible with the remaining shaft walls on the camera. For the purpose of observing the focusing screen image, a peephole c is arranged in the plate b.
Abb. 2 zeigt eine Ausführungsform derFig. 2 shows an embodiment of the
Invention in which the focusing screen image is observed through a peephole c 1 provided in one of the shaft walls at the middle height of the shaft. Such an arrangement is particularly advantageous when observation from above is difficult or impossible, e.g. B. when taking pictures over the heads of a crowd. The observation of the ground glass image at half the shaft height from the side requires the arrangement of a mirror opposite the observation side. This mirror can be firmly connected to a shaft wall e , be it that it forms a mirror pane fastened to the wall, or be it that it forms the correspondingly polished or otherwise machined inner surface of the shaft wall e . The mirror wall e, which, like all shaft walls, is arranged on the camera body so that it can pivot about a hinge, can be tilted according to the invention with respect to the ground glass, so that it is, for example, under an inclination. angle of 45 ° against the ground glass can be set m. This adjustability a 5 offers the advantage that the screen image can be observed in its entire size in the mirror, which is not the case with known similar devices. In the inclined position, the mirror wall e is held in place by any stop r or the like. A peephole c 1 is provided in the shaft wall f opposite the mirror e , by means of which the user can observe the mirror and thus also the focusing screen m from behind (arrow y). The user's eyes can thus be located below the upper edge of the protective shaft α 1 . At the same time, this arrangement provides the advantage that by the inclination \ e the mirror wall part of the α 1 of the shaft! which serves to observe the ground glass image appearing in the mirror, is covered without the need for a special cover plate. The space α 1 located between mirror e and ground glass m can also be dimmed by covering the gap s by means of an auxiliary flap 2, a fabric curtain or the like. In order to enlarge the image, it is advisable, especially in the case of small apparatuses with a short observation distance, to insert a magnifying lens h in the peephole of the walls covering the inside of the shaft in a manner known per se, as shown in Fig. 3, which is a combination of the embodiment according to Fig. 1 with which after Fig. 2 indicates, is shown. It can be one and the same magnification lens h for both observation cases, ie both for the observation from above and from that side, data 6 j by suitable made, so that the with of the lens h provided the cover plate l · 1 at the also Well wall Z 1 provided with a peephole c 2 is arranged so that it can be pivoted so that, after the cover plate & 1 has been folded down to in front of the shaft wall f 1, the lens h is in front of the peephole of this wall.
In order to prevent disruptive incidence of light through the peephole c ″ of the side wall when observing from above, it is advisable to attach a slide or a cam-like locking plate by means of which the peephole can be covered.
The use of a mirror inside the protective shaft is made possible by viewing of the shaft from the side (e.g. at 45 °) an observation of the ground glass image, even if the mirror is perpendicular to the ground glass and the cover plate is on the shaft wall is laid out.
You can also arrange several peepholes, also the magnifying lens make it adjustable according to the different visual acuities.
