Filling shaft boiler with a helical heating channel. The invention relates
focuses on hopper kettles with a helical heating channel and aims for improvements
in relation to the manufacture of the heating channel. The Füllschachtk ---- sel according to the invention
is particularly suitable for small heating systems, so-called floor heating systems.
According to the invention, the heating channel is made of a helically wound one on top of the other
semicircular pipe shell formed, the edges of which are welded together
will.
The resulting heating channel body forms a wall of a water jacket, and
the channel openings are expediently closed by a second U'assermantel.
The result is a large heating surface that is flushed with water on all sides,
on which the heating gases give off almost all of their usable heat to the water
can. Therefore, such a boiler offers high economic utilization of the fuel.
The accessibility of the helical heating channel can be through a recess
of the outer water jacket above the height of the heating duct body.

The drawing shows the invention in an embodiment in Fig. X in vertical section. Fig.2 is a rear view after removing the door closing the cleaning opening. Fig. 3 is a horizontal section along line 3-3 in Fig. Z and Fig. Q. the perspective view of part of the pipe shell used to form the heating channel. The boiler has two outer jackets a and b, which contain the main water space c, the grate d and a poking door f and the ash door ä. At the bottom they can also enclose a water space e to make full use of the heat. In the jacket B of the Heizkanalkörper is inserted, the ..aus a helically one above the other spiral groove is Ruhr lt whose edges 1i are welded together. With these edges h 'is supported - the heating channel body against the jacket b, in which it is guided vertically so that it can work freely. The coiled pipe channel lt contains on the outer circumference the helical heating channel i, through which the heating gases developed on the grate d must flow before they can escape through the nozzle i 'into the chimney. 'Through the water-filled ceiling el of the boiler, the filling chute k engages in the usual manner. A water jacket remains between it and the heating duct body lt , to which the greater part of the heating gas heat is given off as a result of the larger heating surface of the body lz facing it. The unequal supply of yarn in the inner and outer water jacket causes the water to circulate rapidly and vigorously in the kettle.
herstellen. So that the heating duct remains accessible in all its passages, the outer water jacket c is cut out on one side of the boiler at l above the height of the heating duct body lt (Fig. 2). Its corridors can be cleaned quickly and easily from here. A particular advantage of the described type of adjustment of the helical heating channel is the great simplicity in processing_ The pipe channel lt can be wrapped around a mandrel without difficulty with appropriate 'guidance and can then be welded at the edges h'. The great depth of the weld seam offers a guarantee against scrap, because even if part of the edge melts away, enough metal remains to achieve sufficient strength of the seam and the seam width also allows tensile stress when the heating channel body h is inhibited when working in its shaft completely free expansion is prevented. Such a boiler can therefore be manufactured in series at a moderate cost, regardless of the heating surface which is considerable in relation to its size.
