Durch das Spiel zwischen Metallbuchse 6 und Lagerbuchse 4 sowie Pleuelauge 3 baut sich im Ringspalt 5 über die Schmierölversorgung des Lagers oder über den im Kurbelgehäuse vorhandenen Schmierölnebel eine Schmierölschicht auf, die aufgrund der im Ringspalt 5 herrschenden Kapillarkräfte und der zwischen Metallbuchse 6 und Schmierölfilm wirkenden Oberflächenspannung dauernd erhalten bleibt. Je nach Größe der zu dämpfenden Stoßkräfte können mehrere Metallbuchse 6 in den Ringspalt 5 mit Radialspiel zueinander eingesetzt werden (Fig. 2). Die dabei konzentrisch zueinander angeordneten Metallbuchsen6 bilden somit ein Blechdämpfungspaket mit einem zwischen jeder einzelnen Federstahlbuchse 6 vorhandenen Schmierölfilm. Durch eine entsprechende Wahl der Blechdicke, der Anzahl der Federstahlbuchsen und der Größe des Spiels können die Federung- und die Dämpfungseigenschaften des Blechdämpfungspaketes beeinflußt werden, so daß bestimmte Frequenzen aus der Verbrennung gegenüber dem Triebwerk isoliert werden können.
