Die äußere Ummantelung wird durch die Röhren c gebildet, welche zwischen untere und obere Verteilungs- und Sammelrohre so dicht aneinander gebaut werden, daß keine nennenswerten Spalten bleiben. Nach außen werden die Röhren c mit Wärmeschutzmasse bedeckt, so daß durch die etwa vorhandenen feinen Spalten zwischen den einzelnen Röhren c keine Rauchgase nach außen entweichen kön-, nen, und der Kessel auch gegen Wärmeverloste nach außen geschützt ist.
