Description

Elektromagnetisch gesteuerte Abgasreinigungsanlage als austauschbares Katalysator-System mit zwei drehbaren Bajonettverriegelungen.
Eingeschaltet:
Das elektromagnetische Relais schließt das Umschaltventil abwärts um 45 Grad. Es kann mit Bleibenzin gefahren werden, dabei leuchtet kontinuierlich eine Kontrollleuchte auf. Die nicht entgifteten Abgase strömen durch Schalldämpfer I u. II nach außen.
Ausgeschaltet:
Eine Rückholfeder in dem elektromagnetischem Relais schiebt das Umschaltventil in die Normalstellung nach oben zurück. Die Abgase des benötigtem beilfreien Benzins strömen auf geradem Wege durch den Katalysator durch die Schalldämpfer I u. II nach außen.
Die mit dem Umschaltventil geschaltete Kontrollleuchte erlischt.
Die Abgasreinigungsanlage hat eine elektromagnetische Steuerung. Das keramikbeschichtete (hitzebeständig) Umschaltventil, gefertigt aus Wolfram oder Silizium, im Stahlguss, sollte bis 2000 Grad hitzebeständig sein.
Damit kann das bewegliche Umschaltventil unmittelbar hinter dem Auspuffkrümer montiert werden. Weil der Katalysator erst bei erhöhter Temperatur wirksam wird, also entgiftet, ist die Montage hinter dem Auspuffkrümer anzustreben. Durch kompakte Konstruktion kann diese Abgasreinigungsanlage mit dem Katalysator mit der Vorrichtung zweier drehbarer Bajonettverriegelungen als Modul unter der Motorhaube kurzzeitig eingebaut oder ausgewechselt werden.

1. Abgasreinigungsanlage für eine Brennkraftmaschine mit einem Katalysator, gekennzeichnet durch eine den Katalysator umgehende Umwegleitung und ein elektromagnetisch betätigbares Umschaltventil, welches die Abgase bei Verwandlung eines bleifreien Kraftstoffes durch den Katalysator und bei Verwendung eines bleihaltigen Kraftstoffes durch die Umwegleitung führt.
2. Abgasreinigungsanlage nach Anspruch1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Umschaltventil durch eine Feder in eine Stellung vorgespannt ist, in welcher die Abgase durch den Katalysator fließen.
3. Abgasreinigungsanlage nach einem der Ansprüche 1 und 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass eine Warnleuchte im Armaturenbrett aufleuchtet, wenn das Umschaltventil die Abgase durch die Umwegleitung führt.
