In der Zeichnung ist 1 ein gewöhnlicher Schraubenbolzen und 2 die daraufgeschraubte Mutter, wobei 3 in gestrichelten Linien die zusammenzuschraubenden Teile sind. Die Mutter 2 ist von gewöhnlicher Größe und Gestalt, nur besitzt sie eine quer über ihre obere Fläche verlaufende Nut 5. Diese Nut 5 ist etwas weiter als der Durchmesser des Bolzens ι und hat senkrechte Seitenwände 6. Die Grundfläche 5 dieser Nut is't ein wenig geneigt gegen die Steigung des Gewindes 7 des Bolzens i, und die Nut kann, wenn gewünscht, so geschnitten sein, daß gleiche Räume verbleiben zwischen den Seitenwänden der Nut und dem Gewinde des Bolzens auf jeder Seite des Bolzens. Die Mutter 2 wird auf dem Bolzen 1 gesichert durch ein flaches Verschlußglied, welches so breit ist, daß es zwischen die Seitenwände der Nut genau paßt. Das Verschlußglied besteht aus einem Stück 10 und verläuft in· zwei vorspringende Schenkel 11, welche den Bolzen 1 teilweise umgreifen, während die innere Biegung des Ausschnittes des Verschlußstückes 10 in das Bolzengewinde eingreift, wie aus Abb. 3, 4 und 6 ersichtlich. Die inneren Seiten der Schenkel 11 sind entsprechend dem Bolzengewinde zugeschärft, wie bei 12 (Abb. 7) zu sehen. Die Schenkel 11 sind so lang, daß sie eine Art von Keilwirkung auf die Mutter ausüben und zum Zwecke der Sicherung in der in Abb. 3 dargestellten Weise umgebogen werden können. Um die Mutter 2 zu entfernen, werden die Enden der Schenkel 11 wieder in die in Abb. 4 dargestellte Lage gebogen.
