Das Material der Büchsen und Spindel kann dabei beliebig sein, jedoch hat sich die Verwendung von Messing als Material für die mittlere Büchse als besonders zweckmäßig erwiesen, wenn die Spindel und die äußere Büchse aus Stahl hergestellt werden.
