It should be noted that all of the valves shown are ball check valves are normally of a spring, such as a coil spring, in a known manner in an open or held in the closed position. It goes without saying that the selection of suitable check valve designs is left to the person skilled in the art without affecting the basic idea of the present invention will.
In the following, FIGS. 3, 4, 5 and 6 will be discussed in more detail and the operation of the valve and line system Systems explained in more detail.
It is assumed that the bellows 22 is in the normal case in its extended operating position, in which he is filled with air. In this operating condition, the check valve 28 is normally open to the atmosphere closed.
After manually compressing the bellows 22, the air pressure opens the normally closed check valve 29 so that air flows through line 20 and pressurized air into shaft 31 and from there exits via the front end 15 through the channel 40 (FIGS. 2, 3 and 7). It should be noted that the check valve 32 is normally closed, whereby there is a passage of air through the line 25 which leads to a syringe base 34 (FIGS. 2 and 4).
Bei Freigabe des Blasbalgs 22 kehrt das Rückschlagventil 29 in seine normalerweise geschlossene Lage zurück, wobei durch die Elastizität des Blasbalgs das RückschlagventilWhen the bellows 22 is released, the check valve 29 returns to its normally closed position, with the non-return valve due to the elasticity of the bellows
Durch aufeinanderfolgendes Zusammendrücken und Freigeben des Blasbalgs wird Luft durch den Schaft zu der Stirnfläche wie gewünscht gepumpt.28 will open due to the negative pressure that forms, so that a new amount of air flows into the bellows. By successive compression and release of the bellows causes air through the stem to the face pumped as desired.
(Siehe diesbezüglich Fig. 4, und 7).If it is desired to introduce a liquid into the shaft 31 in order to. spraying over the end face 15 with the liquid or to initiate a flushing process, a conventional syringe 33, which is equipped with a Liquid is filled, introduced into a syringe base 34, which is located on the endoscope head. By pushing in of the syringe plunger, a liquid is pumped in, which flows through the line 2 5, whereby the im Normally closed check valve 32 is opened and the liquid flows into line 20 up to the im Normally closed valve 2 9 and in the opposite direction through line 20, the liquid on the end face 15 of the shaft 31 through the channel opening 40 is delivered. (See Figures 4 and 7 in this regard).
If desired, the liquid introduced through syringe 33 can be given a pressure greater than or equal to beyond that exerted by the syringe alone by using the bellows 22 in the manner previously described Way operated.
As soon as a batch of the liquid has been added to the line 20, the syringe 33 is removed a return of the check valve 32 to its normally closed position so that the liquid in the system is held back. Then, by compressing the bellows 22, an air pressure is created in the line 20, which acts on the liquid located therein, and this on the end face 15 of the shaft 13 by the Can channel 40 emerge, so that a sprinkling or flushing takes place.

101 The liquid is suctioned off by applying a Negative pressure to a line 55, see in this regard Fig. The negative pressure is from a remote, not shown Vacuum pump applied via a line 46 and triggered by pressing down the actuating button 27 so that the negative pressure spreads through the line 55 and the line. Line 55 is opposite to the atmosphere sealed at point 26 with a non-return valve, not shown. 10
