Abstract

Concrete blocks are fastened to a carrying cloth with the aid of nails. During mfg., the blocks are provided with holes in a preset pattern for the receipt of nails. The blocks are mechanically deposited to the correct position by a conveyor and the cloth then moved relative to it and the nails forced home. Guide members are arranged on the side of the cloth remote from the blocks for correct positioning of the nailing heads w.r.t. the block holes. The blocks can be positioned correctly with the aid of a gauge, with the nails inserted simultaneously.
