Description

Device for measuring the power of radiators and heat sinks. It devices are known that thereby determine the performance of heating systems allow thermometers, especially thermocouples, in both the inflow as are introduced into the drain pipe of the heating medium. Here is the difference the temperatures measured in the incoming and outgoing heating medium. This procedure has the disadvantage that, in addition, the amount of heating fluid flowing through it every hour must be measured, which is not always possible. It is also known that one In the case of air heating, thermocouples in both the incoming air flow and in the heated one Can attach spaces to measure the heat input. However, this procedure is at Heat transfer through radiators not applicable. It is also known that one Thermocouples both on the surface of radiators and in the heated room can attach to deal with the mean difference in temperatures on the radiator surface and to determine the amount of heat given off in the boiler room. But this is cumbersome and difficult to determine the mean temperature of the surface because of the solder joints must be distributed over the entire surface.

The present invention allows the difference between the mean temperature of the heating fluid and the room temperature - and thus the amount of heat transferred - to be determined by arranging two thermocouples in such a way that one soldering point of one element is in the supply line of the heating medium, the other in the room, the one soldering point of the other element in the Abflussleitung_ of the heating means, the other are arranged in the room and that both elements are connected in series. Instead of a pair of elements, you can of course arrange several elements in order to get a stronger current. The current flowing through the pair of elements is proportional to the mean temperature difference between the liquid and the room, i.e. the amount of heat given off every hour. Fig. I shows the device for the simplest case that only a single radiator system h is available. H is the supply line, R is the return line of the heating fluid, e is the pair of elements, a is the soldering point in the feed line, c is the soldering point in the return line, b and d are the soldering points in the room, z is an instrument for measuring the thermal current, indicating , writing or counting can be set up. Fig. 2 shows the device when using several radiator systems, which can have heating surfaces of different sizes. The element groups e1, e2 and e3 are assigned to each of the radiator systems hl, h2 and h3, and in the larger radiator the element group consists of a correspondingly larger number of element pairs. All elements are connected in series here. Fig. 3 shows the device when the element pairs are connected in parallel. Here resistors w1, w2, w3 are switched on, the smaller the larger the heating surfaces of the associated heating element. s1, s2, s3 are circuit breakers that are switched off when the associated radiator is switched off.

If the thermal currents are too weak, around the electricity meter To put into operation, between the circuit of the elements and the ammeter a relay are switched on so that the flowing through the ammeter Currents are directly proportional to the thermal currents.
