Die Platte α ist mit dem Band b versehen, dessen Ende c beliebiger Art, z. B. durch Aufbringen einer Blechhülse, versteift ist. Über das Band b wird ein Schieber d geschoben. Dieser Schieber besteht aus der Platte d_v an der eine mit rechtwinklig zu ihr stehendem Ansatz versehene Klemmplatte d_% angelenkt ist. Durch Herumklappen der Klemmplatte d₂ in Richtung des in Fig. 1 eingezeichneten Pfeiles wird der Schieber auf dem Bande festgestellt. Die Platte d_x oder aber auch die Klemmplatte d₂ kann, wie in Fig. 5 gezeichnet, an der Rückseite des Schlipses festgenäht werden.
