Durch den Längsversatz der Zylinder der beiden Zylinder­ reihen ergibt sich neben dem infolge des Versatzes der Zylinder­ reihen in Richtung der Achsen der Kurbelwelle 6 vorstehenden End­ zylinder 1 der einen Zylinderreihe und vor dem infolge dieses Ver­ satzes zurückgesetzten Endzylinder 3 der anderen Zylinderreihe prak­ tisch ungenutzter Raum innerhalb des Umrisses der Maschine, der er­ findungsgemäß zur Unterbringung der Ölpumpe 7, der Wasserpumpe 8 sowie von Antriebsmitteln ausgenutzt wird, die zum Antrieb der Pumpen 7 und 8 sowie der oben liegenden Nockenwelle 9 von der Kurbelwelle 6 her dienen.
