Description

The invention relates to a multi-stage sewage treatment plant with sewage ponds for cleaning various types of sewage and / or for sewage sludge treatment. Domestic wastewater or this wastewater comes as wastewater corresponding commercial wastewater, industrial wastewater, wastewater derived from precipitation and wastewater from sewage treatment plants that meet the minimum statutory requirements in accordance with Section 7a Water Resources Act does not suffice in question.
Such a sewage treatment plant has become known from DE-AS 20 05 052, in which two sewage ponds are interconnected by pipelines through a filter.
This system has a disadvantage, as is the case with many other sewage treatment plants that from the multitude of complex physical, chemical and biological processes In the self-cleaning of natural waters, only individual processes are separated out and in specially shaped and equipped structures are procedurally optimized. These optimized jobs are then combined as purification stages to form a complete technical sewage treatment plant. Often disturb such technical systems the landscape.
The invention is therefore based on the object of the self-cleaning processes that take place in natural waters to simulate more comprehensively in a generic wastewater treatment plant, whereby the wastewater treatment plant does not stand out from the landscape as a technical system, but rather integrated into it and also simple and should be economically viable.
This object is achieved in that several sewage ponds through flow circuits over in common Above and below ground Ries'il areas connected to each other are.
Weitere Ausgestaltungsformen ergeben steh aus den Ansprüchen 2 bis 26.Further embodiments result from the Claims 2 to 26.
Gegenüber den bekannten Anwendungen der Teiciitechnik werden erfindungsgemäß folgende Vorteile erreicht: Compared to the known applications of part technology , the following advantages are achieved according to the invention:
The last ponds of the usual pond chains, the so-called fining ponds, which are known to be few for the total degradation performance of a pond system
;o beitragen, viel Platz beanspruchen und durch Sekundärprozesse, wie Algenwachstum, das Reinigungsergebnis witterungsabhängig sogar nachteilig beeinflussen können, sind durch ober- und unterirdische Rieselflächen ersetzt; o contribute, take up a lot of space and through secondary processes, How algae growth can even adversely affect the cleaning result depending on the weather, are due to above and below ground Replaced trickle areas
Windverhältnisse) gesteuert werden können.- In addition to the flow and circulation currents the known pond systems are caused by energy input currents with which the Water content of the wastewater pond over or through the bank area between ponds constantly od ^ r temporarily exchanged, whereby Ventilation and cleaning vo. inge according to clarification requirements (Af> w? sserart) and can be controlled according to weather conditions (temperature, wind conditions).
The pond floor plans are designed in such a way that adjacent Sewage ponds have long adjacent shorelines because of this for the aforementioned additional flow circuits is advantageous.
The additional currents graze with one central flow drive causes, for the directly, so without the lossy detour via electrical energy, including wind energy, can be used in the system according to the invention the inferiority of wind energy, which i. a. a disadvantage is seen in advantages for the course of the clarification technology Processes is converted.
Gegenüber den bekannten Anwendungen der P.iesel- und Filtertechnik werden erfindungsgemäß folgende Vorteile erreicht:Compared to the known applications of the diesel and filter technology , the following advantages are achieved according to the invention:
Schla-nmes in Kauf nehmen muß.
bewältigt, indem das auf die Riesel-- By creating overgrown sewage fields above the normal pond water level. which are underlaid with a gravel filter, the top layer of which is created over time by substances carried by the sewage (sludge of the pond level) and by dying parts of the vegetation and is kept open-pored by the vegetation and the bottom layer in all operating states has a predominantly air-filled pore space. the disadvantageous age .n t »of the known designs of the soil filter is reduced by integrating the vegetation into the FiltPrtechnik, without one. As in known applications, backwashing or long downtimes for the purpose of filter regeneration and removal of the sludge deposited on the filter surfaces must be accepted.
- By arranging a gravel sand filter, which, as part of the walling of the entire system, delimits the feed-backed runoff areas on the outside, is assigned to the adjacent pond as bank area on the inside and is arranged above the normal pond water level in terms of height, even larger fluctuations in the sewage inflow are managed without filter overload with a relatively small overall filter area, by the trickle

Surface-borne water trickles and seeps there, and with increasing flood height, the surrounding filter activated and when the flood level continues to rise, the beginning of an overload indicates, flows back over the inner bank edge of the floodplain into the outer pond and in the Pond system is temporarily stored, with this flow cycle over the drainage areas Ventilation and cleaning processes can be controlled according to clarification requirements can.
Es zeigtThe invention is explained in more detail below with reference to exemplary embodiments in the drawing. It shows

Das Abwasser fließt gemäß F i g. 2 bzw. [Aa)I(Ab) überfließt, gespeichert. (Aa)I(Ab). The wastewater flows according to FIG. 2 or 3 from the inlet shaft (1) into the annular outer pond (2). When the central flow drive (13) comes to a standstill, the flow in the outer pond (2) stagnates. The sewage inflow is stored until the sewage overflows through or over the bank area (3) or (3a) l (3b) to the inner pond (4) or [Aa) I (Ab). Then the water level in the inner pond (4) or (Aa) I (Ab) also rises. If the water level of the inner pond (4) or (4a; / <4i>;) exceeds the height of the bank area (3) or (3a; / (3ö;), there is a continuous water surface in the interior of the system (see Fig . 2 to 4). The pond level of the system has a retention capacity that depends, among other things, on the height of the bank areas (5) and (6) Surfaces (5) and (6) and seeps into the gravel sand filter with which these bank areas are underlaid (see Fig. 6). On bank surface (5) the infiltration predominates because of the sludge discharge. On bank surface (6) the seepage. In the gravel sand filter the sewage seeps to the drainage (7) with rinsing shafts (8). The sewage flows through the drainage (7) to the collecting shaft (9) and from there to the drainage shaft (10) Gravel filter in the bank areas (5) and (6) is also the bank area n (5) and (6) flooded. This activates the surrounding filter (11) which, in conjunction with the overflow (12), serves as an emergency overflow. In the event of extreme sewage inflows and possibly also with persistent frost, the entire system is temporarily a pond, the surface of which can also freeze over without affecting the function of the system. The entire facility has a total retention capacity for which almost the entire property is used.
During normal operation, the outer pond (2) and the inner pond (4) or (Aa) I (Ab) are filled with wastewater approximately up to the level of the bank area (3) or (3a; / (3 &;) (see Fig. 4 and 5), and the central flow drive (13) runs continuously or at time intervals (F i g. 3, 4, 7 and 8) is a combination of propeller and jet pumps, delivers from the inner pond (4) or
to (Aa)I(Ab) durch die Rohrleitungen (14) Abwasser oder nach klärtechnischen Anforderungen ein Gemisch aus Abwasser und Luftto (Aa) I (Ab) through the pipelines (14) wastewater or, according to purification requirements, a mixture of wastewater and air
— zu den Austnttsöffnungen (15) im Innenteich (4) bzw. (Aa)I(Ab). Mit dem Strömungsdruck des austretenden Wassers bzw. Wasser-Luftgemisches wird der Inhalt des Innenteiches (4) bzw. (Aa)I(Ab) umgewälzt und gegebenenfalls mit der austretenden Luft belüfte:, sofern diese Vorgänge k'är'.echnisch erwünscht sind. Die Austrittsöffnungen (15) können ein- oder beidseitig auch ständig oder zeitweise geschlossen werden. Die Umwälzung des Teiches (4) bzw. (Aa)I(Ab) kann mit laminarer Strömung (Schlammablagerung) oder turbulenter Strömung (Schlammtransport) durchgeführt werden. In den Teichen wird dabei nach klärtechnischen Erfordernissen aerober, fakultativ aerober oder auch fast jnaerober Betrieb durchgeführt. Bei Windantrieb wird der Betrieb in dieser Breite des verfahrenstechnischen Spektrums wechselnd durch die wechselnden Windstärken bewirkt;- to the Ausnttsöffnungen (15) in the inner pond (4) or (Aa) I (Ab). With the flow pressure of the exiting water or water-air mixture, the contents of the inner pond (4) or (Aa) I (Ab) are circulated and, if necessary, ventilated with the exiting air, provided that these processes are technically desirable. The outlet openings (15) can also be closed permanently or temporarily on one or both sides. The circulation of the pond (4) or (Aa) I (Ab) can be carried out with laminar flow (sludge deposition) or turbulent flow (sludge transport). In the ponds aerobic, facultative aerobic or even almost aerobic operation is carried out depending on the clarification technology requirements. In the case of wind propulsion, operation in this breadth of the process technology spectrum is alternately effected by the changing wind strengths;

(Aa)I(Ab).
(3a)/(3b)weitgehend abgeschlossen. In d<.j· unterirdischen
These shafts are inlets into the underground drainage area (21) (see Figs. 3 and 5), which is formed in the bank area (3) or (3a) l (3b) . The subterranean trickle surface (21) is laterally bounded by filter bodies (22). The filter body (22) can consist of a material that is not very permeable to water. Then the water, which enters the underground drainage area (21) through the inlet shafts (16), following the outline of the bank area (3) or (3a) l (3b) , seeps into the underground drainage area (21) to exit areas (17) ) in the filter body (22) and returns there to the inner pond (4) or (Aa) I (Ab). The movement of water from (16) to (17) thus takes place in the subterranean trickle area (21) in a semicircle in the outline of the bank area (3) or (3a) l (3b) . Due to the cohesive soil (23) (Fig. 5), the subterranean trickle surface (21) is largely closed off from the ingress of air and water from the surface of the bank area (3) or (3a) / (3b). In this way, an anaerobic flow circuit (fermentation circuit) with water from the inner pond (4) or (Aa) HAb) is created in d <.j subterranean trickle surface (21) between the inlet shaft (16) and the outlet area (17), when the filter bodies (22) are not very water-permeable. Such a fermentation stage can be advantageous for the treatment of certain types of wastewater. It is also known that the biological phosphorus elimination is positively influenced.
The filter bodies (22) can also be designed to be relatively water-permeable in whole or in sections. Then the flow processes in the underground trickle surface (21) are not caused by the water inflow into the inlet shafts (16), but by the water level difference between the water levels in the outer pond (2) and the inner pond (4) or

genutzter Flächen.- constantly or at time intervals / u the outlet openings (19) or (20). In this way, water is pumped from the inner pond (4) or (Aa) I (Ab) onto the bank surfaces (5) and (6) and flows into the gravel sand filter after it has trickled over the bank surfaces (5) and (6) and after seeping in , with which these areas are underlaid, as already explained, to the drainage (7) and to the drainage shaft (10). This water exit from the system is the difference between the inflow and the storage the bank areas (5) and (6) are stored in the ponds. With normal wastewater, the wind-powered system discharges the wastewater depending on the wind strength onto the bank areas (5) and (6) until it, with persistently stronger wind, as a result of the overflow of the bank areas (5) and (6) flows back into the outer pond (2) without overloading the capacity of the filter devices, and using the well-known and efficient ventilation and cleaning effect of sprinkling overgrown areas and using the ventilation effect, caused by the raid over the bank edge (6a).
The wastewater can be distributed relatively evenly on the bank areas (5) and (6). The gravel filter, with which these surfaces are underlaid, and the Umwaliungsfilter (11) are then lightly encased. The process has only a few ingredients. The filter throughput can be increased temporarily and partially, but also up to the limit of the filter performance. If the greater filter load is combined with targeted sludge discharge from the pond level, the drain has more ingredients, including fertilizer salts, but according to the current state of knowledge, hardly any toxic substances and hardly any hygienically undesirable organisms. It is suitable for sprinkling neighboring agricultural areas.
Die Wasserspiegeldifferenz zwischen den beiden Teichen bewirkt eine Überströmung des UfergeländesAs a result of the functions of the central flow drive (13) described above, the water level of the inner pond (4) or (Aa) I (Ab ) falls and the water level of the outer pond (2) rises (see FIGS. 4 and 5). The difference in the water level between the two ponds causes the water to flow over the bank area
(3) bzw. (Aa)I(Ab) zum Außenteich (2) gepumpte Wasser wieder in den Innenteich(3) or (3a) / (3b) and a flow through the subterranean trickle surface (21) and the filter body (22), provided that the filter body (22) are water-permeable, with which the inner pond (4) or (Aa ) I (Ab) to the outer pond (2) pumped water back into the inner pond
(4) bzw. (Aa)I(Ab) zurückfließt. Die Art der Überströmung bzw. Durchströmung des Ufergeländes (3) bzw.(4) or (Aa) I (Ab) flows back. The type of overflow or flow through the bank area (3) or
(3a) / (3b) is also dependent and controllable on the height of the pond water levels relative to the height of the bank area (3) or (3a) / (3b). By overflowing the bank area (3) or (3a; / (3 £>; and the small weir threshold (25), which is arranged on the bank area (3) or (3a) l (3b)) , the runoff is in known efficient manner enriched with air oxygen. is thus on the Ufergeiände (3) or (Sa) I (Sb) between the inner pond (4) or (Aa) I (Ab) and outdoor pond (2) an aerobic St.-c mung circuit if the pond water levels are set sufficiently high for the height of the bank area (3) or (3a) l (3b) . This circuit supplies the inner pond (4) or (Aa) I (Ab) and also the outer pond (2) However, if the pond water levels are kept lower than the height of the bank area (3) or (3a) / (3b) , the water only flows through the subterranean trickle surface (21) and the filter body (22), if this is at least locally water-permeable. The oxygen supply to the pond level is limited he system can be advantageous when the water surface is frozen. In normal operation under wind power, it is an operating phase that can occur temporarily after a stronger water discharge onto the bank areas (5) and (6), i.e. in a weak wind phase after a time with stronger wind movement.

Das Wasser, das nach Überrieselung der UferflächeThe wastewater, which has been largely purified in the pond stage, or the sludge largely mineralized in the pond stage, emerges from the outlet openings (19) and (20) and initially trickles mainly above ground over the bank surface (5). Vegetation is known to be an efficient filter. The gravel filter with which the bank surface (5) is underlaid. Primarily ensures favorable growth conditions for the vegetation and promotes the drying of the bank surface (5) after every load. Subordinately, the bank area (5) also has a certain seepage capacity.
The water that after trickling over the bank surface
On the bank surface (6) there are favorable conditions for soil filtration with regard to seepage performance. Operation and service life of the filter layer. The flow processes on the bank surfaces (5) and (6) are depends considerably on the slight unevenness of these surfaces and can be influenced with such unevenness.
(4a)/(4b). Uferfläche (5), (6). Außenteieh (2). zurück zum innenteich (4) bzw. (4a)/(4b). The flow and soil mechanical precautions cause the pond to operate unsteadily in the case of wind propulsion, which is undesirable in the known pond systems. because it forces you to adapt the energy supply to the oxygen demand and, in spite of this, generally worsens the drainage quality of the system. In the system according to the invention, an abundant supply of wind energy when driven by wind causes an increased oxygen demand of the system on the one hand by swirling up the sludge, but automatically also covers this greater need, namely the ventilation on the bank area (3) or (3a) / (3b) and possibly in the trickle circuit between the inner pond (4) or (4a) / (4b). Bank area (5), (6). Outdoor duck (2). back to the inner pond (4) or (4a) / (4b).
In a known way, soil filters with discontinuous Tributary operated. According to the invention, a natural discontinuity is created when the pond system is driven by wind causes the operation of the pond system, which makes it possible to connect a filter system after the pond system, because the discontinuities introduced into the pond operation by the wind meet the requirements of the filter function fulfill. The main disadvantage of wind energy, the natural discontinuity of the energy supply, is used to advantage.
In the case of larger systems, the inner pond (4), FIG. 2, divided by the land bridge (3c) into the inner ponds (4a) and (4b) of FIG. If necessary, this subdivision can also be continued while maintaining the system described. The riverside area 3, F i g. 2, in the sections of the bank area (3a) and (3b) according to FIG. 3 structured. The subterranean trickle surfaces (21) and filter bodies (22) arranged there can, as explained, be varied according to the requirements of clarification technology.
For larger systems, it is also possible to use the bank areas (5) and (6) and the wall filter (11) in To divide sections with different water permeability and to graduate according to height.

According to the invention the in F i g. 7 and 8 shown arrangement is provided.
(4a)i(4b) in die Schachtbauwerke (30). The propeller pump (29) is located in a shaft (27), which is connected to the inner pond (4) or (4a) / (4b) by the pipes (28) which may also be shut off. The wastewater flows from these in the pipes (14) to the outlet openings (15), (18). (19), (20) and the entry shafts (16). The outflow from these openings is regulated by gate valves according to purification technology requirements.

In systems with low inflow fluctuations, the Umwallungsfiltcr (11) Nolübcrhiuf in case of operational disruptions and in unfavorable weather conditions. In these systems, too, the surrounding filter has long regeneration times over the course of the year. Its water permeability can therefore be limited in favor of adequate filtration performance will.
