Nach der Verlegung der Platten werden dann die Nuten wie auch die Fugen zwischen den Platten mit einem aushärtbaren Kleber verbunden, so daß ein in sich geschlossener, wasser- und säurefester Bodenbelag entsteht. Dieser Bodenbelag benötigt keinerlei Dehnungsfugen innerhalb der Fläche, da dieser auf dem Untergrund frei verschiebbar ist. Nach dem Verlegen der Platten werden die Fugen 3 zwischen den einzelnen Platten 1 wie auch die Nuten 11 mit einem aushärtbaren, säurebeständigen und nach der Aushärtung wasserunlöslichen Kleber 4 ausgegossen. Man erhält hierdurch einen in sich geschlossenen Bodenbelag, der auch lediglich punktweise vom Bodenaufbau unterstützt zu werden braucht. Der Vorteil besteht darin, daß unterhalb der Platten, unabhängig von deren Fugenverlauf, Kanäle ausgebildet werden können, in denen Heizrohre einlegbar sind oder aber die auch als Kanäle für Warmluftheizungen dienen können.
