Eine dritte Möglichkeit, die Tischplattenhöhe neu einzustellen, besteht darin, daß das Tischgestell so aufgestellt ist, daß die Streben zum einen als Auflage für die Tischplatte dienen, während die anderen Streben mit dem Boden zusammenarbeiten. Hat nun das Tischgestell die neue Position eingenommen, dann wird die Tischplatte auf das Tischgestell gelegt. Zwar ist es bei dem bekannten Tisch möglich, bei der Tischplatte drei verschiedene Höhen einzustellen, allerdings ist die Handhabung mit der Tischplatte nur dann verhältnismäßig einfach, wenn die Tischplatte geringe Maße und ein geringes Gewicht aufweist. Im anderen Falle sind nämlich mindestens zwei Personen erforderlich, um den bekannten Tisch umzurüsten. Dies ergibt sich nicht nur aus der Tatsache, daß im Falle, wenn die Tischplatte ein größeres Gewicht besitzt, die Handhabe mit ihr nicht möglich ist, sondern auch daraus, daß die Tischplatte mit Bezug auf das Tischgestell eine bestimmte relative Position einnehmen muß.
