Abstract

Ein Kerzenständer, insbesondere Leuchter mit einem eine Kerze aufnehmenden offenen Hohlkörper, in welchem die Kerze höhenverstellbar angeordnet ist. Dabei bilden mehrere übereinander gestapelte Ringsegmente den Hohlkörper. Wenigstens eines der Ringsegmente ist einseitig mit einer Bodenplatte verschlossen. Ein Kerzenständer ist von mehreren übereinander gestapelten Ringsegmenten 1 und einem Ringsegment 2, das mit einer Bodenplatte 5 versehen ist, gebildet. Alle Ringsegmente 1 und 2 übereinander gestellt bilden einen offenen Hohlkörper 8, der an der Unterseite durch die Bodenplatte 5 verschlossen ist. In diesen Hohlkörper 8 ist eine Kerze 7 gestellt. Ein Kerzenständer, bei der Verwendung als Leuchter wird zunächst so zusammengebaut, daß der oben offene Hohlkörper 8 der Länge der Kerze 7 entspricht. Nun wird die Kerze 7 nach Einbringen in den Hohlkörper 8 angezündet. Ist die Kerze soweit abgebrannt, daß die Flamme bereits innerhalb des Hohlraumes im Bereich des obersten Ringsegmentes sich befindet, wird der obere Ring entfernt und zur Erhaltung der Gesamthöhe des Leuchters als unterstes Element unterhalb des letzten Ringsegmentes angeordnet. Ist die Kerze weiter abgebrannt und liegt die Flamme wieder im Bereich des nunmehr obersten Ringsegmentes 1, so wird auch dieses Ringsegment entfernt und wieder als unterstes Ringsegment auf der Standfläche des Leuchters angebracht. Auf diese Weise behält der Kerzenständer bzw. Leuchter immer seine ursprüngliche Höhe. Das Ringsegment 2 mit der Bodenplatte 5 wandert automatisch durch den Umbau der Ringsegmente 1 von oben nach unten immer weiter nach oben und zwar entsprechend der Abnahme der Länge der Kerze. Claims

1. Candle holder with an open hollow body accommodating a candle, in which the candle can be arranged in a height-adjustable manner, characterized in that

a) several hollow ring segments ( 1 ) placed one above the other form the hollow body ( 8 ) for receiving the candle, whereby a ring segment ( 2 ) closed on one side with a base plate forms the base for the candle ( 7 ),

b) the ring segment ( 2 ) with the base plate ( 5 ) can be arranged at any height depending on the height of the candle ( 7 ) under or between the other hollow ring segments ( 1 ),

c) the ring segments ( 1, 2 ) are provided with centering or plug-in devices ( 3, 4 )
