Process for obtaining vented boiler feed water from condensate
and fresh water.
The invention relates to a method for extracting vented
Boiler feed water from condensate and fresh water, in which the additional feed water
into the vacuum space of a surface condenser through which the machine exhaust steam flows
is introduced in order to free it from the natural air content.
In a known method, the additional feed water is so in the
Vacuum space of the surface condenser resulted in the vapor flow in the condenser
does not hit, but is directed into the lower space of the condenser. It has
then only imperfect opportunity to warm up to steam temperature and
to give up his air. According to the invention, the make-up water is different in the
Steam introduced into the condenser before it hits the condenser cooling tubes. Of the
The exhaust steam flowing into the condenser is usually somewhat overheated. As long as this overheating
exists, the heat transfer through the cooling tube walls is much worse
than with saturated steam. With the new process, the steam mixes before it does
Contact with the cooling pipes with the make-up water, which firstly creates the steam
Overheating removed and the cooling effect of the surface condenser improved
will; second, the make-up water, while it is well distributed in the vacuum space,
warmed up to saturation temperature, thereby improving its ventilation
will. To prevent the cooling pipes from becoming encrusted by deposits of the make-up water,
it can be intercepted in a known manner before it hits the cooling pipes.
The drawing shows an example of execution. The steam,
which, at a, enters the condenser, first hits the spray of the
Make-up water that is introduced at b and exits finely divided from the mouthpiece c.
The steam loses its overheating and only then hits the cooling tube bundle
d, while the make-up water loses its air content, that with the rest of it
the condenser out to be created air through the nozzle e from the air compression device
is sucked off. The additional water is expediently through from a container f
the pipe b sucked up, so when the condensation system and the shutdown
associated usual ventilation of the vacuum space the influx ceases and flooding
of the capacitor is avoided.
