entstehen.Ignition vault for locomotive firing and the like made of stones with both sides
cut away upper and lower end edges. The invention is a
Ignition vault for Lokornotiv fire rifles and the like, their novel feature therein
It is seen that the stones are flat on one broad side and flat on the opposite
are formed with a curvature created by recesses, so that when alternating
Laying of the stones openwork vaults that are closed with the same laying
develop.
In the drawing, the subject of the invention is in connection with a
Firebox of a locomotive shown. It shows: Fig. = A section through a
Ignition vault in a fire box of a locomotive, Fig. 2 shows a part of the vault
in plan, FIG. 3 shows a section along the line III-III of FIG. Fig. Q. until
1, 4 show molded bricks partly in view, partly in section; Figs. I5 and 16 show
other embodiments of the ignition vault each in a section. In the embodiment
i to 14 are in two opposite inner walls i and 4 one
Firebox 3a parallel pipes 7 attached. The inner wall of the fire box is
enclosed by an outer wall which has parts 1a, 4a, 3b and 5.
Smoke pipes 6 are connected to the rear wall 2 of the fire box 3a. The pipes
7 serve as a carrier for shaped blocks f and g; they form together with these stones
a vault, which is a lower room intended to receive the fire of a
upper chamber A, located under the ceiling 3, separates from which the gases flow through
Can pull off smoke pipes 6. Opposite the mouths of the tube 7 are in the walls
ia and 4a threaded pin 8 arranged, which allow cleaning of the pipes.
The shaped stones f are used to produce a central field of the vault, while
the shaped stones g are used to produce connection fields, which make the transition
mediate the middle field on the walls of the fire box. Die Formsteine f,
those in Fig. 6, 7 and 8 in three side views and in Fig. g in a section
the line IX-IX of Fig. 8 are shown have on two opposite
Each side has two curved bearing surfaces 1i, 12, so that the stones f either with
a surface g or a surface 14 is placed facing down on the carrier 7
can be. The bearing surfaces 12 still have recesses i2a, so that the
Stones on this side rest on support ledges. Side g of the stone is complete
even and without recesses. On the iq. recesses 13 are provided, see above
that the side of the same two strips 15 remain. When putting together the
Bricks f, as shown in Fig. I, form the recesses 13 of two colliding
Stones canals h, through which gases can pass from room 3a to room A,
since the recesses 13 go beyond the central axes io-io of the stones. The stones
g have recesses i7a provided on one side
Support surfaces
17, with which the stones rest on the tubes 7. The opposite of the surfaces 17
Side of stone g is rounded. Pages 9 'and il! are not parallel, but
run diagonally towards each other towards the tip 16. The surfaces 14 of the stones f or
1q. ' the stones g have recesses 13 and 13 ', which when assembling
the stones according to FIG. i form continuous channels h and the exhaust of the smoke gases
enable. The stones f and g can be placed individually on the tubes 7,
in such a way that the area g or 1q. is facing the combustion chamber. The stones can
as shown in FIGS. 15 and 17 ', can also be placed in such a way that either a complete
uninterrupted vault, as shown in Fig. 16 and 17, arises, or
that, as in Fig. 15, a part of the vault has channels h, while another part has it
not. By making the channels at any point in the vault, the
Tensile effect and thus the combustion at individual points of the lying in Raum.3a
Rostes - to be regulated.
