Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft die Anwendung besonders geformter feuerfester Ziegel zum Verkleiden des Feuerungsraumes von Wasserröhrenkesseln. Diese Ziegel werden einfach lose auf die den Feuerungsraum umgebenden Wasserröhren aufgeschoben und halten sich sodann infolge ihrer Form selbst gegenseitig in der erforderlichen Lage fest. Die Ziegel sind hauptsächlich zur Bildung des oberen Theiles der Feuerbrücke am hinteren Ende des Feuerungsraumes bestimmt, können jedoch auch an anderen Stellen des letzteren verwendet werden, z. B. zur Herstellung des Bodens der Feuerung, als Ueberzug für die vorderen Theile der Wasserröhren oder auch zum Verkleiden des ganzen Feuerungsraumes.The present invention relates to the use of specially shaped refractory bricks for cladding the combustion chamber of water tube boilers.
