Description

Künstlicher Fuß mit Hacken- und Zehenfederung. . Artificial foot with heel and toe suspension. . Subject of the present Invention imagines one. -Artificial foot, in which by means of a spring housing a quiet gait, which is only slightly distinguishable from normal gait, is to be made possible.

The drawing shows an embodiment of the artificial foot, and; although: Fig. i shows a longitudinal section through your. Foot, Fig. Z shows a section through the middle of the ankle, Fig. 3 shows a cross section through the foot. The foot consists of a housing a open at the top, which is under the influence of well-known ankle joint springs e and at the bottom of the hedge at the end of the hedge .a heel spring d that dampens the shout of the heel and a leaf spring b with a spring hook c that encompasses the toes towards the front is appropriate. The housing a is connected to the lower wooden part f of the lower leg by means of hinge pins. The middle part of the wooden part f, in the form of an oval disc, serves as a support surface for the two articulated springs e and, from above, as a support surface for the large Federg (for cushioning of the body weight). The upper shaft of the wooden part f is used in its cylindrical part to guide the large spring g, and in its prismatic part to guide the pressure piece i. The artificial leg is attached to this pressure piece i. To limit the pressure piece towards the top, a washer is used which is screwed to the prismatic part of the upper shaft of the wooden part f. Felt padding and leather cover give the foot its natural shape, corresponding to a healthy foot.
