Abstract

The self-adhesive disposable underarm liners can be cut out from a suitable wide band consisting of layers having different functions. These layers are held together by several strip-like indented lines which run across the band but do not extend over the entire width. These lines are each associated with the relevant cutting lines (for long or short sleeves) so that they lie directly adjoining each cutting line within the liners. Adhesive spots are provided on the two sides of the band covering the fold line and further adhesive spots are provided at a distance from the fold line parallel to the centre line at the back half of the liner. The protective layer covering the adhesive spots matches the size of the band and shows the cutting lines. The liner can now be cut out to the required size from one and the same piece.
