Krispelmaschine.
Crisping machine. In the known crisis machines, where the
folded skin rolled back and forth between two parallel plates
must be the resistance that the more or less brittle skin of the roller movement
on the other hand, can be overcome by the friction of the crisp plates on the skin.
In the case of the very smooth and mostly brittle skins, friction was often sufficient
between them and the crisp plates not to counteract the resistance of the skin fold
to overcome the rolling movement, because the greater the pressure chosen for the crisping plates
was to increase the friction, the more so was the fold of skin between the
Crunchy plates pressed in, making it all the more difficult to roll back and forth. aside from that
there are some types of leather that have a smooth surface, but only with very little
Pressure may be peeled. With these, the increase in friction was between
the granule plates and the skin not at all by placing them closer together
of the crisp plates possible.
This deficiency is intended to be eliminated by the invention. This exists
in that one or both. Crisp plates divided transversely to their direction of movement
and each part is able to give way in a springy manner. This makes it possible
the individual parts of the granule plates - with different levels of pressure on the skin
to let press and by greater pressure on the adjacent to the skin fold
Skin parts than on the skin fold itself the friction between the crisp plates and
of the skin without affecting the pressure on the folds of the skin. Of the
different sized pressures of the Krispelplatte parts can both by different strength
Springs, as well as by moving the individual parts perpendicular to the direction of movement
of the plates, as well as by both at the same time.
zerfällt in die beiden Teile a und a'.
The new Krispelplatte is shown in the drawing in an example in two different working positions in elevation. In the embodiment shown, only one crisp plate is divided once transversely to its direction of movement and is divided into the two parts a and a '. The other crisp plate b , on the other hand, is not divided transversely to its direction of movement. The two parts a and a 'of the split Krispelplatte are each mounted individually on springs c, c' so that they are able to yield resiliently independently of one another. The abutments d, d 'of the springs c, c' - can be displaced in relation to one another perpendicular to the direction of movement of the crisp plates, so that by moving the lower plate parts a 'it is possible to exert the pressure on the skin parts e' hanging down from the skin fold e without having to increase the pressure on the skin fold (Fig. 2). The same success can be achieved in that the springs c ', on which the lower Krispel = _ plate parts are mounted, are chosen to be stronger than the springs c, or that several nested springs are used in a manner known per se. In order to reduce the friction of the skin parts moving against one another, they are kept separated in a known manner by a tongue f. The shape of the crisp plates is otherwise unimportant. As is known and usually the case, these can also be divided into strips parallel to their direction of movement.
