Abstract

The volumetric hydraulic pump comprises a rotor (3) and a co-axial stator (5). The stator has a variable surface formed by adjustable elements in the form of flat plates and ramps. Axial vanes (1) in the rotor form variable volume cavities between the rotor (3) and the stator (5). The low pressure circuit is connected to the inlet channel (19,BP) and fluid passes through the pump by the action of vanes and is discharged through the high pressure port (19HP). The depth of the stator elements is variable, giving variable flow.
