Description

KAISERLICHESIMPERIAL

PATENTAMT.PATENT OFFICE.

PATENTSCHRIFTPATENT LETTERING

KLASSE 72: Schusswaffen und Geschosse.CLASS 72: Firearms and projectiles.

Zusatz zum Patent No. 29446 vom 13. Mai 1884.Addition to patent no. 29446 of May 13, 1884.

Patentirt im Deutschen Reiche vom 5. August 1884 ab. Längste Dauer: 12. Mai 1899.Patented in the German Empire on August 5, 1884. Longest duration: May 12, 1899.

The rifle is like the one under No. 29446 patented designed; only there is an automatic tensioning of the locks when the locking block B is opened . The spring C lies in the lower locking rail and acts, with its hook-shaped end passing under the tube, against the hinge of the locking block B and snaps it to the side. As a result, the tensioning lever G, which is concealed in the locking block up to the hinge, is pressed against a projection and thus forced to move back. The cocking lever pushes the firing pin or the hammer back with its arm pointing inwards and in this way cocks the lock or locks. When the locking block B is closed, the chain O, which is attached to the tensioning lever G , now holds it back, so that the inner space in front of the hammer or the firing pin is free to press. The safety device P is a small wave that goes straight through the lock room with a crank facing outwards. The shaft is perforated so that the firing pin or hammer can penetrate through the hollow space; the castle can only be secured when it is stretched; it is secured using the crank located on the left side of the locking block B; if this is turned forward until it comes to a stop, the full side of the shaft lies in front of the tap and prevents it from being propelled and at the same time from opening the locking block B.
