Description
KAISERLICHESIMPERIAL
PATENTAMT.PATENT OFFICE.
The invention relates to tractors with rotating, movable on chains suspended grippers for tillage implements; the grippers sit on the car, whose roles are guided in fixed curves.
Die Rollen der Greiferwagen bedürfen einer sehr guten Schmierung, da sie unter starker Belastung stehen und mit hohenThe roles of the gripper carriage require very good lubrication because they are under standing under heavy load and with high
ίο Touren laufen. The usual oiling through channels that are connected to an oil chamber is often not sufficient, since the oil channels can become clogged. It is therefore necessary to lubricate the rollers with a pressure pump. However, since the gripper carriages are in constant motion, this pressure lubrication cannot be reached from one point on the roadway. On the other hand, it is possible to install a small oil pump in the gripper carriage itself and to move the piston of the same through the load of the vehicle. For this purpose , an oil container 1 is attached below the cylinder C 1, which serves to guide the gripper foot which is under spring pressure. This inside carries a small cylinder 2 in which a piston 3 is guided. This is connected to the gripper of the gripper carriage by a long rod. The oil enters the cylinder 2 through an opening 4. This is connected to the bearing journals 6 of the rollers 7 by channels and tubes 5. The channels 5 have a hair-like opening 8 which is in communication with the oil container 1. If the resilient gripper foot 3 ^ of the gripper carriage touches the ground and is loaded by the pressure of the vehicle, it compresses the springs in cylinder C and also presses the piston 3 down into the small cylinder 2, so that the oil flows through the channels and tubes 5 reaches the bearing journal 6 after the lubrication points. If these are filled with oil, a pressure or resistance arises in the tubes 5, which is indirectly the cause that the oil compressed by the 4i > piston 3 is no longer pressed through the lubricating bearings, but squirts out through the small openings 8 and thereby returned to the oil container 1. In this way, very economical oil consumption is guaranteed.
