Wenn man bei dem unter No. 26667 patentirten Schlofs die Hinterfalle e aufgeschlossen und den Riegel b mittelst der Olive zurückgezogen hat, so mufs man, wenn man den Schrank offen, den Schlüssel aber nicht stecken lassen will, bei zurückgezogenem Riegel wieder zurückschliefsen, weil man erst dann den Schlüssel herausnehmen kann. Es bleibt alsdann der Knaggen f der Hinterfalle durch die Spiralfeder d so lange gegen den Riegel b angedrückt, bis dieser vorgeschoben wird und sich alsdann der Knaggen der Hinterfalle, wenn diese herunterschnellt, hinter den Riegel legt. Da dieses Vorschieben des Riegels von der Olive aus ohne Schlüssel möglich ist, so kann der Fall eintreten, dafs die Thür zugemacht und der Riegel vorgeschoben wird. Hängt dann der Hauptschlüssel an dem im Tresorschlofs steckenden Tresorschlüssel, was ebenfalls vorkommen kann, so mufs der Schrank gewaltsam zerstört werden. Um diesen Uebelstand zu vermeiden, ist bei dem vorliegenden Schlofs an dem Theil der Zuhaltung g, an dem die Hinterfalle gleitet, ein Einschnitt χ angebracht. Wird die Hinterfalle aufgeschlossen, so schnappt ihr Ansatz in den Einschnitt, Fig. 2, und bleibt also auch in dieser Stellung, wenn der Schlüssel zurückgedreht und herausgenommen wird und wenn man die Schrankthür schliefst und den Riegel vorschiebt.If you look at the one under No. 26667 patented Schlofs has unlocked the back latch e and pulled back the bolt b by means of the olive, if you want to leave the cabinet open but not leave the key in the lock, you have to lock it back with the bolt pulled back, because only then can you take out the key.
