Gegenstand der Erfindung ist eine Verglasung' für Fenster und Glasdächer mittels biegsamer Streifen aus Weichmetall o. dgl. Die Erfindung besteht darin, daß die Nut, die zur Befestigung des Weichmetallstreifens im Fensterrahmen dient, eine > Verlängerung der Anlagefläche zwischen Glasscheibe und Fensterrahmen bildet. Bei einer weiteren Ausführung ist die Befestigungsnut der die ίο Scheibe beiderseitig umfassenden Weichmetallstreifen parallel in einem Abstand von der Anlagefläche zwischen Glasscheibe und Rahmen angeordnet. Durch diese Einrichtungen soll ein sparsamer Verbrauch an Streifenmaterial erzielt werden, da nur die unumgänglich notwendigen Falzungen der Streifen erforderlich und Befestigungsmittel, wie Stifte, Schrauben o. dgl., überflüssig sind.
