Abstract

1. A window comprising a support frame carrying the glazing, and a shaped clamping member (4) for fixing the glazing, which can be secured to the support frame (3) and which has a portion of substantially U-shaped cross-section, the opening of which is directed towards the support frame, wherein a plurality of angle members (13) are disposed on the support frame at a spacing from each other and, in the plane of the frame, each have a respective connecting element (7) which is displaceable in a groove extending transversely with respect to the support frame and which can be engaged in the U-shaped portion of the clamping member (4) for retaining the clamping member (4) without screw means, characterized in that the connecting element is a clip member (7) which has a clamping projection (8) directed towards the inside of the frame, for retaining the side wall (10), which is towards the inside of the frame, of the U-shaped portion, and a locking projection (9) arranged at a spacing from the clamping projection, for locking the clip member to the side wall (11), which is towards the outside of the frame, of the U-shaped portion, wherein in one position of the clip member (7), the clamping projection (8) is disposed between the two side walls (10, 11) of the U-shaped portion and the locking projection (9) is disposed outside the side wall (11) which is towards the outside of the frame, and the clip member, for retaining the clamping member (4), is displaceable towards the inside of the frame in such a way that the locking projection (9) engages within the U-shaped portion.
