Abstract

Oil slicks on surface waters can be collected by a floating device which can be towed between two ships and consists of an oil collector with a C-shaped section and urges the oil to the apex of a catenary. An opening at the apex leads to a long floating hose tank in which the oil is collected. In case of heavy oil, a pump can be added to the opening at the apex. This enables oil slick disposal operation to be initiated with a min. of delay and at low cost.

Description

Beseitigung von ÖIteFFichen auf See.Elimination of OIteFFiches at sea.

Possible uses for the elimination of ulterpichen tariff lake are These are special ships that are only manufactured for this purpose and whose approach is usually very time-consuming.

The aim of this invention is to achieve that at low cost the vacuuming of oil spills can be tackled in a very short time.

Any ship can be used for this mission, because the oil is collected by a bowl-shaped collecting device, the is connected to two watercraft, in which the Ö1 is in the middle through a funnel guide is filled in hose tanks. The pressure created by the speed of the two Ships is usually enough to fill the towed hose tanks heavy oil, an electric pump is built into the funnel, which is controlled from on board will.

Any number of hose tanks can be linked one behind the other so that larger amounts of oil can be absorbed without interruption Hose tanks can then be exchanged in the meantime and directly from other boats be transported to the destination.

Depending on their tasks, the hose tanks can be divided into different Sizes can be customized, depending on whether they are used at sea, in rivers or harbors should be.

The hose tanks can also work particularly well with stranded tankers are used because they 1) have a shallow draft and 2) lighten the tanker quickly can.

They can also be carried on board and deployed from there will.
