Multifeed-Adapter üblicher Bauart sind zwar auch zur gleichzeitigen Aufnahme von zwei LNBs (LNB = „Low Noise Block" / Satelliten-Außenempfangseinheit) geeignet, wodurch die Programmvielfalt gesteigert wird. Jedoch sind sie starr und nicht veränderbar. Ein optimaler Empfang kann mit den bisherigen Bauarten nicht erreicht werden, weil die LNBs weder dem Seitenwinkel noch dem Höhenwinkel der Satelliten angepaßt werden können.Multifeed adapters of the usual design are also suitable for the simultaneous reception of two LNBs (LNB = "Low Noise Block" / satellite external reception unit), which increases the variety of programs. Der Multifeed-Adapter stellt eine Erweiterung des zur Halterung nur eines LNB's bestimmten Feed-Adapters dar. Der Feed-Adapter besteht aus zwei Teilen, d.h. einem Oberteil und einem Unterteil mit einer Klaue, welche an der Montageschiene eines Satellitenspiegels angebracht wird. Ober- und Unterteil verfugen im zusammengeschraubten Zustand über eine quergeteilte Öffnung zur Aufnahme eines LNB's. Nach der Trennung des Oberteils vom Unterteil durch Lösen der beidseitigen Verschraubungen kann die Multifeed-Erwerterung mit den halbkreisförmigen Aussparungen spiegelbildlich auf das voneinander getrennte Ober- und Unterteil des Feed-Adapters aufgeschraubt werden. Durch die Ergänzung mit dem Multifeed-Adapter können nun gleichzeitig zwei LNBs aufgenommen und in die Satellitenanlage integriert werden. Diejenige Seite, die zur Hälfte aus dem Oberteil des Feed-Adapters besteht, läßt sich durch das Gelenk zur Seite und durch das Umsetzen der Verzahnung in der Höhe verstellen, während die andere Seite, die zur Aufnahme des anderen LNB's dient, mit der Montageschiene verbunden ist.The multifeed adapter is an extension of the feed adapter designed to hold just one LNB. Mit der Erfindung wird erreicht, daß das seitlich angebrachte LNB an den unterschiedlichen Seitenwinkel des zweiten Satelliten in Richtung zur Spiegelmitte angepaßt werden kann. Das Verschieben der beiden Teile des Multifeed-Adapters wird dadurch erreicht, daß die Bohrung vom Durchmesser größer ist als zur Aufnahme der Schraube nötig. Durch Lockern der Verschraubung kann das Verschieben erfolgen, nach der richtigen Einstellung wird die Schraube wieder angezogen. Die Verstellung zur Seite ist zur genauen Justage auf den Brennpunkt des Spiegels beim Empfang des seitlich stehenden zweiten Satelliten zur Erzielung einer größtmöglichen Empfangsqualität erforderlich. Da die zu empfangenen Satelliten auf der stationären Umlaufbahn um die Erde vom Standpunkt der Satellitenantenne einen Elipsenkreis bilden, haben die zu empfangenen Satelliten auch einen unterschiedlichen Höhenwinkel. Durch den infolge der Verzahnung und Verschraubung möglichen Höhenversatz kann der Höhenwinkel eingestellt und eine optimale Justierung des seitlich angebrachten LNB's zum Brennpunkt des Satellitenspiegels erreicht werden. Dabei kann der Höhenversatz durch ein einfaches Umstecken der Zahnung beim Montieren der Multifeed-Ergänzung realisiert werden. Darüberhinaus kann die Bauart des Gelenkes durch den erhöhten Kraftschluß die auftretenden Kräfte, die durch Windlast entstehen, besonders gut aufnehmen, und über die mehrschichtigen, aneinander liegenden Lamellen der Verzahnung erhöht sich die Reibung.The invention ensures that the LNB mounted on the side can be adjusted to the different side angle of the second satellite in the direction of the center of the dish.
