Behälter zum Kompostieren von häuslichem Bio- und Gartenabfall, welcher allseits gegen das Eindringen von Ratten gesichert ist, sowie eine zusätz­ liche Holzverkleidung besitzt, welche die Schellkompostierung begünstigt, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß alle Seitenteile, Boden und Deckel aus, in Stahlrahmen verschweißten Stahldrahtgeflecht, Stahlgitter oder Streckmetall bestehen und somit ein Eindringen von Ratten und anderen Kleinsäugern verhindern. Die eingesetzten Bauteile sind standardisiert. Somit ist eine Volumen­ vergrößerung des Behälters durch Modulbauweise möglich. Alle Stahlteile sind verzinkt oder bestehen aus Edelstahl, Aluminium oder ähnlichen Materialien und genügen somit dem Anspruch einer langen Lebensdauer.1.
